It's back to work today. I came in this morning and found a note on my desk from my boss that he has hired a new delivery driver. I wonder why he didn't say anything on Friday?

I've been busy with everything, work included. Hopefully things have slowed to normal now.
The contest has a life of it's own. Impatience has been a huge issue, and then on top the thread has 15 different lives of it's own. They need a middle moderator to be between Smokey and the Manufacturer to keep the info updated. Communication has been poor, which leads to many issues. There were probably thousands of fake entries in the contest which has led to multiplying issues, and lots of unnecessary work. It's appearing that a lot of the entries selected to win were from fake accounts, and with all the bad stuff in the thread I doubt they will award the leftover units. It's been said my unit is in the mail and also that it will be mailed in 3 more days after all info is collected. Some people who got a winning email notice haven't received a second confirming/reply to email with info. I think the whole upvirl thingy has caused a lot of the issues. There has to be a better way.
Looks we are the Beta testers for these type contests. I hope they continue, but the jury is still out on that.
I'm really anxious to get mine, I've already downloaded the Smok app to my phone.
I work with electrical and electronics but really don't have an interest in getting that deep into technology for my vaping equipment. Had I won one, I probably would have just run it in power mode.
I wasn't really excited about the app on my phone, then I saw where I can change the settings on the mod to saved profiles so I am curious. I vape with usually 2 different power settings, so it will keep me from having to use the buttons a lot (I hope). I am kinda excited for it to get here, want to try the tank, plus in contests they take soooo long after you win to be delivered.
I'm actually more interested in the tank than the mod. I've heard really good things about their tank.
I already ordered a single coil build deck from China for the tank, don't know if I will ever order more coils for it. Interested in the top fill. I'm going to have to read up on temp control for this mod, I have no wire (thinking stainless 304 or 316L) to coil a TC tank. Also ordered a few more build decks for my Subtank Mini's so I can easily build for them too. From what I've read TC is nice.

Sir I only use the rba decks on my subtank minis. I just got the rba deck for the triton yesterday. It's quite a bit different. Basically it's like rebuilding a stock coil.

I've been rebuilding the OCC and using the rba for the Mini's. Most of my rba's are the old style with the tiny weep holes, so I ordered more of the new ones with the larger holes. I have no idea what to expect with the new tank.
USMCOTAKU has been using one on the Asolo beta unit and loves it. I've seen a few people with the rubber band things around them to help keep the top closed.
