The two switches are automatic and manual. The automatic switch has a pressure sensor which automatically activates the atomaizer when you suck on it. The manual switch has a button which you have to press to manually activate the atomizer whiile you suck on it. That is all.
Why do ya need a switch for manual? Just wondering.

If you use the manual switch in the right way (pressing it a second or so before you actualy inhale) the smoke will be 'waiting for you': no need to warm up the atomizer with the first part of your draw, and then get the smoke on the second half. So you get a 'richer' smoking-experience. (And side-effect: you do save on your battery-life).

Exactly; the manual switch replaces the need to "prime" the atomizer. Press it while bringing it to your lips, and the atomizer is warm and producing good vapor from the moment you first suck on it.
