Hi, can you all stand another newby with a whole bunch of questions? Sorry! I feel as though I need to have a pHd for smoking e-cigarettes! Confuuuuused!
Well, here is my story: after doing a lot of research I got myself the eGo-T with the 1000 batteries, which should be arriving tomorrow. I also got 6 bottles of juice - 3 from the place where I got the kit (goodejuice.com), and 3 from Backwoods Brew in different flavors and strength - mostly 24, some 18 and 1 in 12mg.
Here is my situation: I smoke a pack a day and I am "a bit" of a road warrior - well... I actually travel a lot. The two main reasons why I decided to go into e-cigarettes is to be able to smoke inside a hotel room, and also to get rid of my smoker's cough. I am not using this as a nicotine replacement tool, and have no problems in smoking cigarettes as well if I need to... While it would be great to smoke only this since it seems to be so much cheaper and healthier, I have no grandeur plans to get off cigarettes immediately - if it happens AWESOME; if it doesn't fine.... as long as I can stand to be in my hotel room for hours at a time with this only. Rental cars will be a huge plus too!
So... Another aspect of my travelings is that more often than not I am stuck in situations where I will not be able to refill this - Stuck in meetings, trade shows, from one place to another... Which is why I got the tank and the 1000 battery in the first place. I have to have everything kind of setup and ready to go... Well, as much as possible, anyways, for the day.
Whatelse? I do have cats at home, so I do not smoke inside either - having the e-cigs will be awesome so I can smoke at my desk (work at my home office).

I think that's all I can say for now..... So, here are my questions:
*I saw that to avoid the leaks I better get a syringe to refill my tanks and some silicone caps - can you travel with those syringes? Will people think you are doing drugs or something?
*I am going to be going out of the country soon... are these chargers dual voltages? Can you charge your batteries by plugging them in your computer USB port?
*Do the B tank leak more than the A tank?
* Say, for someone who smokes a pack a day, how many A tanks am I going to smoke/refill in one day?
*Just in case, how many atomizers should I have in hands, at any given time?
Any advice that you see fit for my situation would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

I am also new to this and have no experience with this model. What i can say is with nic. i didnt want to smoke for three weeks! It was effortless. And when i was left with no choice ( due to equipment failure and lack of availability ) cigarettes tasted gross! Its funny i didnt mind them 3 weeks ago but now they make me ill. i am now left trying to keep up with my new habit, Vaping.

Good luck.

It is better to leave the tank caps in place and refill via the opening but you do not have to use a syringe if you think travel may be a problem. Get three or four one mil plastic pipettes, they work just as well.

B tanks leak less than A's in my experience, particularly if you never remove the tank cap.

A tanks hold a mil, everyone is different but probably about 3 - 4 ml a day. B tanks hold 1.8ml so far better if you can't refill often. You can prefill tanks for the day and slip on the little rubber cap that they come with, they wont leak.

Five or six atomisers at least. They can die without warning and you can't buy them at the local store.

hope that helps :)

So far I've no leaks with my eGo T atties. I pop the tops and fill from a bottle. When replacing the caps, you should hear two snaps. You should be good to go.

*I am going to be going out of the country soon... are these chargers dual voltages? Can you charge your batteries by plugging them in your computer USB port?

Don't think so. Yes.

*Do the B tank leak more than the A tank?

Haven't used A tanks. But check my first answer.

* Say, for someone who smokes a pack a day, how many A tanks am I going to smoke vape/refill in one day?

I'm guessing, but I'd say have three tanks with you. Can't be too careful...

*Just in case, how many atomizers should I have in hands, at any given time?

Have at least one extra with you at all times. Ya never know when one will fail.

Any advice that you see fit for my situation would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

Also be sure to have ample spare batts. I NEVER have too many batts... got 12 right now.

I must also recommend THESE over the tanks. HERE's my review on the eGo Mega DDCs. They're fairly new, but I luv 'em. As my review states, this is the best eGo configuration I've enjoyed. Buy 'em, juice 'em, screw 'em on your eGo batts and vape your azz off!

Good luck!

From one noob to another!! I've been vaping for about 6 weeks, and I started out on the ego-t. I grew to hate it, but some people still use and like them. I felt I had to do a lot of "fiddling" after the first week or so to keep it working right. I really hope yours ends up working perfectly for you and meets all your needs, but if not, I would suggest looking into cartomizers.

I use the Smoktech dual coil cartomizers right now (on the same ego batteries from the kit), and I like them much, much better than the ego-t atomizer & tank. I was afraid of cartos at first because they seemed messy and difficult to deal with, but I find them to be a lot easier than the constant fiddling with the tank. You can fill a few cartos at night before bed and be set for the day. The flavor is also a lot better, which is important for me.

I'm by no means trying to disparage the ego-t here, if it works for you then fantastic! If you end up in the same boat, though, know that there are other options out there, and don't give up on vaping! I still have a cigarette or two a day, but I've found I like vaping much more, and my smoker's cough is totally gone. Good luck!

I have an eGo-t type b and love it but be prepared as it may leak. Some things I have learned:
1. Don't draw hard
2. Using a juice that is mixed with vg is best to keep the juice thicker 70/30 works well for me
3. Filling through the hole in the tank works with a dropper bottle depending on the tip
4. Always have paper towel especially when pulling the tank to refill
5. When the atty gurgles be ready it's prolly getting ready to leak. I just remove the tank and remove the atty from the battery and blow the juice out of the atty into a paper towel.

Keep those things in mind and don't get to frustrated and it will become easier than remembering where you put your lighter.

It's here, it's here!!
I opened the box and now I am wondering if this is a new system or a refurbished one though.... The two e-cigs came assembled, the batteries on (even though in the manual it says they ship on off position), and one of them was wet - like the primer? from the atty had licked outside of the whole e-cig... But do they put that much primer in it?
I was also seeing pictures of the system, and the e-cigs came without the cartridges in it - they came assembled only battery/atty. The cartridges, for my surprise, have silicone caps - for which I can't complain.
Aside from that it does look new - there are no scratches, no fingertips, all the pieces came well wrapped in sleeves, etc...
Anyways...
I blew one of the atty (couldn't wait to rinse/dry LOL), and put it to work with the liquid - their 555. For now I think I am tasting quite a bit of the primer, but I do feel the taste of the liquid too, and surprisingly, I do like the sweetness of it...
So far no leaking, no problems....
2 Questions: I do want to clean the other atty, as I want to make sure I get a full and clear taste of my liquid - I saw somewhere there is a way to dry it in the oven... For how long and what temperature?
Also, how do I know my batteries are in fact 1000 instead of the original 650?
Thanks!

Yes, the 1000 batteries are nice and big! I love them!

Good luck with it. I never got the pv to quit. It was a very pleasant surprise that it did happen. I just ended up liking it better. That came with time.

The great thing about the ego is it's so versatile. You may want to pick up some cartomizers to try too. I just purchased these myself and I'm waiting for them to arrive-

Bill is selling echo-e cartomizers. Hold 2 1/2 ml of juice and can be reused 100x.

Also ordered Dual Coil Cartomizers for the ego from Mad Vapes. Hold 5 ml of juice. That and the 100 ml battery will seriously last you a whole day without charges and refills.

I personally have neve heard of cleaning the atomizer in the oven. Not saying it can't be done but I've never heard that.

Your Backwood Brew juice will only get better. As it steeps the flavors in the juice really come out.

No, not cleaning it in the oven - rinsing it with water then drying it in the oven.... I haven't received my liquids from BWB yet, but it should be here tomorrow! I got some good ones too....... ;-)

One other tip for using the ego-T -- it's going to leak no matter how careful you are, particularly if you put it in your pocket or go outside on a warm day. The air inside the tank expands and of course the pressurized juice has to go somewhere. If you're just using it inside, say at your desk, you shouldn't have problems, and it will give you a wonderful vape. When not using the unit for a while, remove the carto and tank and store them upside down.

For travel I'd recommend getting a few blank 510 cartomizers. The Boge low-resistence cartos and the newer dual-coil models both produce good vapor, fit your ego-T batteries perfectly, and aren't likely to leak.

Enjoy your ego-T!

Well, have been vaping for several hours and so far so good... I think I can do with a better tasting liquid though. I feel I am tasting too much PG. It' not bad, like horrible, but I would not classify as something I am loving it either- I feel I am vaping night club's smoke. One thing I like, is that the tank seems to last a while- I think I will do fine with this system. We will see. If the tank doesn't leak, I might stick with it... Or I might give the 5mil dual coil cartomizer a try for my trips- just have to find out how many times you can refill them... Anyways, can't wait for my other juices to come! Oh yeah, it definitely curbs my nicotine cravings... I smoked only one cig all night tonight, and did not want to finish it- this tasted better- it is just SUCH a habit to reach for a cigarette when you crave for nicotine!
