That’ll mess with her depth perception. She may “miss” more.
I have an actual smellycat. The deal is cats have a pair of scent glands on either side of their rectum to produce ‘cat citeron’ which was the basis for cheap perfume long ago. It smells a lot and that smell is not good. My cat has something up with them. They leak, irregularly. so there’s a lot of “DONT EVEN TRY TO SIT ON MY HAIR!” Expressing them is unreliable. They don’t always express on purpose, but will express by accident. Theres no infection. My guess is some sort of morphological oddity. surgery to remove them is 3k, and I don’t want to spend that on a cat, so I have a cat that smells funny. Not all the time, but often.
Can a vet or groomer express them for you at a nominal charge? I had a shih tzu many years ago, only two years old and his ruptured.

@rosesense Sad days indeed but I suspect your Mailia is as tough as my sweet Emma. She had 4 seizure/ stokes last year and she still walks crooked and some days need help getting up onto the couch or stairs but she still gets playful and most days eats well. Our critters are tougher than we expect more often than not. Em is fully blind now and loses her sence of direction regularly. I started teaching her words like straight and turn. I started using different textures of rugs in doorways to help her know where she is. You'll find ways to help your darling girl; just watch how she navigates on her blind side and you'll see ways you can help her with that.

That’s the problem. They express them and theres nothing except cat in severe pain noises, then 5 minutes later *BLURT* theres foul smelling green and grey goop all over and all the groomers are unhappy. It stinks that bad. For a million years mother nature was like “what’s the stinkiest stuff i can make?” And that’s what she came up with

I was thinking about him and the bunnies some time back! Was outside and there were several rabbits in the neighbors yard.
Rabbits are short lived. Not as much as opposums but not long. They may be gone or he has different ones. My step brother had one that was 12 and it was something of an unheard of ancient artifact. At least it made her easier to catch. You could just put her down in the middle of the back yard because she couldn't run fast enough to get away from you. It was lop (about 6 in.)….lop….. it was slower than walking speed. Rabbits are usually NOT like that.
