Know those days where you can't get a build you like?

Well today wasn't one of them :D

Just re-coiled my Subtank rba with 26 gauge Kanthal @ 2mm (0.6 ohms) and re-wicked my original KFL+ with 28 gauge SS @ 2mm (0.49) and they're vaping perfectly on my Kbox Mini and Pico.

*bliss*

(prior to this, my Subtank build was terrible for some unknown reason - guess I'd done something to offend the vaping gods).

Vaping DIY can be such a faff at times but when you get it just right it's a joy :)

Yep. I love it when all the pieces fit together perfectly; the build, wicking, juice, atty, mod, etc.
I rebuilt one of my Manta V2 squonkers yesterday; 28g 316L ss, 2.5mm diameter dual coils, 7 wraps each, 3.4 ohms, cotton bacon wicks, REO P67 mod. I've done this build several times, and it's always good, but for whatever reason, this one is beyond awesome!

Lol! I've lost count of the times I've taken an RTA apart, cleaned it, re-coiled and wicked it and it's just terribad.

Usually the wicking for me but some of these tiny decks (like the KFL+) don't seem to work great with 2.5mm coils - of course the next time I rebuild it I'll forget what my 'good' build was and invariably make something awful :)
