any one else experience this?

i went to measure water in an "used" 8ml bottle of koolada - to mix into my big batch to thin it out, and as the water touched the glass it turned completely white. as if it turned into milk!

after it sat for a minute, it started to separate and there is "crystal foam" floating ontop of the water.

you think its ok to mix into my mix, or is it going to cause ALL of the koolada in my big batch to separate just like this did?

Yes, just a little different way though. I used a glass dropper to add Koolada to a mix, and when I went to clean it, as soon as I ran water thru it it turned the dropper white, crystals..... Can't seem to clean it out either even with little brushes. The actual Koolada is perfectly clear in the bottle and shows no signs of crystals. I always know which dropper to use for adding Koolada now though.

I am not sure.....I only added Koolada by drops at the end of small mixes. Like 1 to 2 drops per 10 ml.
Are you trying to thin 100% vg? Maybe PGA would be a better thinning agent when using Koolada in the mix.
Maybe Danny or Hoosier will have the answer for this one......sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Good luck.......oh and Happy New Year! :toast:

It's been reported to turn white before when using water. It's safe for vaping it just looks ugly and may seperate. Most desolve crystals or dilute premixed koolata in PG or 50/50 PG/PGA. If using crystal form desolve 10% crystal to 90%PG/PG and warming the koolata mix slightly will aid desolving. If you see undesolved crystals you may have added to much crystals.
