KR-808 passthru + 901 Atty and Cart = Awesome

My first vaping experience was on a KR-808 so thats what I've been judging everything else by. I got good amounts of vapor from the KR8 and a good throat hit.

However, I can't say the same thing about the 901. It has a good amount of vapor, but its like sucking straight air. No throat hit. Maybe they're not running at a full 3.7v?

Either way, my KR8 passthru turns the 901 atomiser into a vapor machine.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone wanted to try to get more from the 901.

I've been try it but with really bad results. I know it's probably me since I've always used the KR808D-1 so I'm clueless about how to use the atty. And of course I went straight to trying direct dripping. I have one of the high bridge atty's. Do you think it would help if I got the low bridge style? Basicly the problem is no matter what I do everything tastes like burning metal. Any tips???? I have the auto KR808 PT. But I have the same problem when I try the 901 atty on a KR808 battery.

oh yeah...I've done the blowing it out thing...the washing it thing...(hot water,let it sit for 3 days) and the washing it and then burning off with pure PG. Did I miss anything?

So you're using the 901 atty without a cartridge?

If so, I'm not sure... when I vape off the passthru I keep the cart topped off like every 3 or 4 hits and everyonce in a while I'll put a drop or two on the atty to keep it moist and happy.

Gotta love the KR8... It has made me regret wasting my money on 3 piece models like the 510 and 901.
