KR-808D-1 replacement parts do not fit properly

Sorry i couldnt start this thread in the technical issues area. I am very happy with the model that i purchased so not terribly interested in changing models at this point unless its last resort.

My main goal is to find batteries with red or orange led that are white. I want my pv to look as natural as possible while driving at night. I asked in the forums if all parts for model KR-808D-1 would work and i was told yes and i even called to verify this before i made the purchase.

All KR-808D-1 parts do NOT work with all KR-808D-1 models.
1. The replacement battery threads are not long enough to screw into my usb charger
2. The empty cart threads wont screw into my battery at all


I have pictures that i took but i wasnt allowed to post them. If anyone would like to post the pictures for me, i would appreciate it. They are on my photobucket acct. Please help me find replacement parts that will work with my model. Thank you!

Sorry you are having problems. Are you sure you have kr808d-1 batteries? And are you sure you have kr808d-1 cartomizers? The reason I ask is because there are different 2 piece ecigs that are not compatible. There is the E9 2 piece...red dragon, smoke 51, etc and then the kr808 which is the vapor king, nebula, etc. They do not have the same threads so you would not be able to interchange them.

My receipt is from Smoke 51. The model on the box clearly states model KR-808D-1

So did you order more batteries then? From another vendor and those are the ones that won't fit? Who from?

Ok I have a smoke 51 and the kr808d-1 The smoke 51 is not a kr808d-1. It is an e9. The kr808d-1 cartomizers will not fit it. They are not interchangeable. The threads are different. You either need to get kr808d-1 batteries or e9 cartomizers. You said you got replacement batteries...did you get them from the smoke 51 site? It sort of sounds like you got the wrong replacement batteries since they won't work in your charger. Chargers are different for different batteries.

Just go make a few posts in one of the "I hate Obama" threads in the outside section. It's mostly just babble there. I gotta see these pics as I just started on the VK too and want to make sure I don't get wrong parts.

Perhaps smoke 51 has recently changed their packaging or suppliers? Not sure as im still a newbie here but hopefully my pictures will explain and I will look at ordering e9 parts instead. If this IS the case, then new people will need to be warned that smoke 51 boxes that state model KR-808D-1 are NOT that model. I could see this causing huge issues!

Ok! I have both of them in front of me. You HAD an e9...which is what the old smoke 51 was. It looks like you now have the kr808d-1. The threads on the e9 are slightly longer. So, your old charger won't work with the kr808d-1 and neither will the old cartomizers.

I could HUG you!!! You solved my problem and thank you so much. Just to make it clear, the box is the package that I purchased from smoke 51 and as you see it does state that it is a KR-808D-1 but it is in fact, an e9.

We need to warn other people about this. How is someone to know what model they have if the box is improperly marked? I hope the pictures help you Pav.

I am off to order a charger now for my REAL KR-808D-1
