There's a few reviews of the KR mini pipe in the model specific section. You should be able to find all you need there. I'm no expert but from what I can tell, the mini pipe model numbers may vary but they're all pretty much the same aside from the auto/manual thing.

I ordered one from Healthcabin which I would be trying out right now if not for the fact that I missed the postman today and got a delivery notice stuck to my door instead of a box :(

Kool, there is a subforum for the mini pipe here: Mini Pipe - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

Not sure if anyone talked about the manual one yet but i just tried one and I love it. Of course, I have used the auto mini pipe since March and it happens to be my preferred device. I now prefer the manual to the auto so will be looking to pick up a few myself when the time comes. Not really sure where they sell them in the States though....I would have to look around.

Let us know if you try it (and when you try yours too tinstar)!

Just got back from the post office a few hours ago. Charged one battery in the car using an inverter. Been using it for about an hour-ish.

Ordered from healthcabin on the 22nd of Dec. Would have had it on the 31st if I hadn't missed the friggin postman.

First impression:

Open the package, open box....This is the mini-pipe? Damn this thing is tiny. It really is, well...mini. Euro charger w/ US adapter. Pack of 5 carts. 2 batteries. Chinglish instruction manual which was full of typos and peculiar grammar, but understandable.

Construction:

Plastic bowl body, yellow/orange glitter suspended translucent plastic "ember" cap with cast brass fittings. Metal penstyle atty with flexible soft rubber-like plastic mouthpiece. Matte finish with silver bottom band (atty).

Use:

So far, so good. Everything appears to be functioning well with nothing DOA. Vapor production is pretty much the same as a regular e-cig. Flavor took a while to get to as there is some seriously difficult to remove primer in the atty. Once you get past that, its really quite nice.

Its not as powerful as my 601 pipe for vapor production. Its lesser than but kinda close to my 701 cigar.

I haven't had the "loose battery cap" issue. Actually this one twists on and somewhat snaps into position. Holds tight and is certainly nothing that will randomly pop off. Mine definitely take some deliberate effort to take off.

Pro's: Very lightweight. Easy to refill/use. I got the Auto model (which I prefer. Never been a fan of manuals except for vehicle transmissions). Sensitivity is fine with same draw as my 701. The weight makes it easy to leave it hanging from my yap while hands are occupied. Looks nice.

Con's: Could have taken better advantage of the power supply when they designed this thing. Since it's a pipe, I feel the manufacturer could have upped the voltage a little bit to make it stand out more. Battery cover looks kind of peculiar/tacky. I used a sand blaster to texture my 601's cover and to add a degree of opacity to the plastic. I will likely do the same to this one.

Not really a pro or con, but I wouldn't have minded if the manufacturer had made the bowl just a tad larger. It just seems so tiny to me, but its not really that big of a deal.

Only been playin with it for a short time so I will do a more thorough review in the mini-pipe forum after I put this thing through some use/abuse.

Hope this helps some.

Okeedokie....The first 24 hrs.

Batteries lasted nearly 4.5 hrs before the pipe started blinking. Oddly enough, the batteries seem to go dead within minutes of the spare completing its charge. Neat little coincidence. Probably not that interesting for the occasional user.

The pipe atty appears to be fully broken in now. Functions extremely well and is very satisfying when using a fresh charged battery. This level of function continues for roughly 1 - 1.5 hrs. Function tapers off noticeably afterward. Last hour or so of the battery prior to going dead, function is poor.

No leak issues or any problems of any sort noticed yet. Been using it pretty hard. Been through about 3 rotations of the batteries.

Only major observation: Batteries take longer to charge than any other e-cig/pipe/cigar battery I have. Also, not really important but, the batteries are a tight fit in the charger. Really got to push em in.

Wow those caps are AMAZING!!!! Now that's some freaking artwork there.

And the USB connector is equally slick, can't wait to see that come out. Charging batteries is the one thing I dislike the most about e-cigs in general. Necessary evil for the most part but that would be a great addition to the kit.

Thank you as well Lu. Out of curiosity, what kind of recharge time do you have with your batteries. It seems kind of long for me. I noticed today that I was using it much more than yesterday and the other battery was still charging after the one I was using died. Had a 5 or 10 minute overlap.

Thanks again.
