kr808 carto burning?

So I've been experiencing this for awhile n don't know if its normal, here it is... Fill blank carto with normal juice, use it on a fresh battery n tastes great, while keeping it moist all day and maybe mst of next day taste is good, when I switch to a freshly charged battery i immediately have a burnt carto taste in my mouth, I've had cartos last me a whole week, is this normal, and whats the best cleaning boiling method out there?

i just run them under hot water and dry them out. also try some different cartos.

When you switch to a fresh battery, try topping off the carto at the same time.
A new battery will have a very slightly voltage, make sure there's enough juice...

p.s. the Volt cartos at somkelessimage are bottom coils, I haven't had them burn
even using them on my mods at 4.8-5.2 volts, good stuff.

If your getting a burnt flavor then toss it IMMEDIATLY. It mean that either the diapers (cotton piece wrapped around the coil) is burning or in combination with the filler material itself. Trust me, you don't wanna be inhaling burnt cotton or worse.

Do yourself a favor and dissect one before you toss it, simply poke a pin or toothpick down into the white filler and pull it out. take it apart and have a look. So far on the ones that have tasted burnt to me i've been somewhat happy to see only the tiniest black speck (ie it had only just started smoldering and only slightly). I'm sure its still not good for me but at least i knew how sensitive i was to the taste. Some of the photos i've seen have been pretty scary.
