intriqken: I was just about to post a very similar, but more constrained question. Like you, I love my 808 (I love the cartos and I love using a 901 atty on it as well -- great versatility). The one thing I have been wondering is what I am missing out on by never having tried the other very popular "starter" e-cig: the Joye 510.

Since you have used both the 510 and 808, I would love to hear your comparison between the two.

My first PV purchase in early January was a 510 kit and an eGo kit (figured I use the 510 out-and-about, and the eGo at home). The 510 batteries didn't last long enough at about 45 minutes. eGo was fine, but big (to me) to be vaping with the smokers outdoors. I also tried just about every cart mod and couldn't get a decent, long-lasting method that didn't leak like crazy, so I ended up dripping, which is a big hassle when out.

Ordered Bloog stuff early February. I've been using nothing else since (although I've tried other cartos). The batteries last me a minimum of two hours, and usually at least three. The cartos rock, and I was a 510 LR dripper. Refilling them is as easy as dripping, and I get at least one battery out of a refilled carto, usually more. I get a full day on two batteries and two cartos. Their mini-PCC is the size of an iPhone and holds two batteries and a carto, or one battery and two cartos. I love this system. I personally love the analog-like handling of 808 stuff.

My 510 and eGo stuff goes unused in the drawer.

Well, as I have already stated earlier in this thread, I love the 808 system. But I have heard that the 510 has a cooler vape (apparently due to less voltage than the 808 batteries) that translates into more flavor. (I have also heard that the 510 produces more vapor, which I don't understand if it is a lower voltage -- but in the end I really don't care about vapor production as long as I am getting TH and flavor).

Did you observe any better flavor with the 510? Or anything else about hte 510 that was better than the 808?

I hear you, I've been trying to beat the vape on a Coolcart with 5V KR808 passthru or XL batteries.

I got the eGo-T tanks system and vape is cool and flavorless, but decent volume.

Tried dripping a bunch of different 510/eGo attys on eGo-T batteries, better than tank but not KR808.

Finally dripping on 306 LR atty (Good luck so far with 2 out of 2 Ciscos and 1 out of 2 Joye's) with XL drip tip from AvidVapers (limits risk of sucking up hot juice) beats the KR808 passthru.

Pure flavor without carto poly fuzz taste, warm lung quenching vapor, and about 50% more volume. Pure VG makes a scary amount of vapor. Not for stealth vaping.

So I use KR808 on XLs or passthru in the car on the go and drip my brains out on the 306LRs at home.

Try them you'll like them. :vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor: 5 vape emoticon rating from me.

Maybe a bit cleaner flavor, but I was obsessed with keeping attys clean. I sure don't miss that routine. Now when a carto tastes even slightly off, in the trash it goes.

Dripping on a LR atty is a very pure way to vape, but I don't miss it at all with my 808 stuff. I originally thought the 808 would just be for out-and-about use, but it's my main PV now, and is a lot more analog-like in handling, which helps me not crave an analog as well.
