kr808 MEGA cart mini review.

ok, just got these in today, and these things are SWEET! the soft plug is different from any of the other soft plugs I've tried or gotten so far. easy to get out, nice clean fit. the filler and atomizer fill up almost the entire inside of the cart, so there's no giant gap with nothing in it (means MORE liquid!!). I filled up a cart with TV's atomic cinnicide, and hit the button on my xhaler. very nice. lots of vapor, great taste, and I haven't had to refill the carto yet. very very nice redesign. this is probably the best type of carto I've ever gotten. I've WAY happy with these, and I'll be ordering plenty more. Thanks for the awesome efforts drew. oh, they don't seem to get as hot as other carts, so I can vape easily @ 6v with these, and not worry about frying cartos. I'll have to try @ 7.2 and see how they work next.

I agree, outstanding carts! I mostly use GreenCig carts simply because I like the way they're constructed (makes refilling a snap) but these new Mega's have quickly earned a top rank spot. The Blue Cola (Pepsi flavor) threw me for a bit, but it's growing on me, mighty tasty actually, and the blanks I ordered are working out nicely, and match my stainless passthrough too!

Hands down the coolest (temperature that is) carts I've ever seen, I don't think I've gotten 'em hotter than maybe skin temperature so far, nothing like the GreenCig ones after a heavy vape session.

Conner i agree the greencigs were Number 1 on top but these 510 cartos are right there with them. Ohm readings are about the same on both. I still vape the greencig at nite just before bed. ya cant beat that greencig vape with Nhaler liquid. these 510 cartos and greencigs are neck to neck with each other.

Cos, what flavor Greencigs do you buy? I'm looking for the mildest flavors that will not clash with my own subsequent refills. I'm thinking Green Tea, perhaps?

What batteries do you use with them? And, do you clean them? If so, how?

I use just plain old Western flavor. Once it's drained, I take the carts apart and clean the filler and inside parts real good and leave them to air dry overnight. My main flavors now are the High Octane Signature and the Orange Lung, so a thorough cleaning is really only needed for the carts I dedicate to the Lung Juice, any leftover residue from the Western kinda blends in with the Signature. I strip and clean all my refill carts once a week or so just to keep em fresh.

Right now, that's the only thing I really like better about the GreenCig carts, so easy to field strip and clean em.

Field strip and clean? Pray tell how you do this. I've never met a Greencig carto yet (I've seen some startling hairy pictures though), but I'm about to order some, alongside the new Mega kr8s. If you could elaborate, please, on the cleaning procedure? Do you use Everclear, hot water?

I like the mega cartos @ HV more than the greencig ones. the greencig gets a bit too funky (melty tasting) for me.

I pop the inner sleeve out, then pop the filler material out of it. The filler has a small blob of what seems to be some kind of rubber cement substance that holds it in the sleeve, but with a careful touch using something like a dental pick, you can wiggle it out without shredding the fibers. Once everything is broken down, I soak the inner sleeves in fairly hot water, give the filler a good dunking in hot water, then a quick bath in mouthwash for a few minutes, then a final rinse in water. I do the same with the cart, but put a cart condom on the bottom to hold the hot water inside. I put a thumb over the upper end after filling it about halfway with the water, give it a shake for a bit, then do the mouthwash rinse and final water routine. Been using the same 5 carts for several weeks now, and they're still going strong. After a few times, you'll be able to tell when it's time to clean 'em out as you'll notice the flavor quality change. The first refill after cleaning the flavor is great, almost as good (to me at least) as a fresh pre-filled one.
