KR808 starter kit without nicotine cartridges

Hi all,

I am so thankful for this forum; I am completely overwhelmed trying to determine what the best starter kit would be for me.

I read through the beginner’s blog post, and according to that, a KR808 model would be good. I want the e cig to resemble the analog as closely as possible and it want the handling to be easy as possible. Question: which KR808 models sells cartridges without nicotine? I have quit smoking several years ago, yet I have a HUGE problem being around other smokers. I like smoking so much that I cannot stand being around smokers without smoking myself. In normal life, that's not a problem, because out here in LA no one smokes anymore and I just avoid going to the smoking areas. However, I am planning a trip where I will be surrounded by heavy smokers for 2 weeks. I know that I will be smoking the moment arrive. I believe an e-cig w/o nicotine would work as a substitute, as it would give me the satisfying feeling of inhaling.

So any a thoughts/suggestions on a KR808 starter kit w nicotine free carts? Any recommended seller?

Thanks for reading this!

A little on the pricey side for something to get you by for a couple of weeks, but Vapor4Life has nicotine free options for pretty much everything. They are also 808 threading. I love my V4L products, but I use them heavily so they are worth the price. Keep your eyes open. Or, keep in mind that you can always order one thing from somewhere and buy carts from another vendor.

I'm partial to the Volt by Smokeless Image and either their Desert Joe or RY4 cartridges... Great quality, pricing, flavors and customer service. I started e-cigs for the same reason of being around smokers and needing to smoke tried disposibles before landing with a Volt after recommendations here.

Edit: if you're looking to blend in, nJoy makes disposables that look like cigarettes but they can get pricey at $8 per day/2 days

Really comes down to what YOU want. There is quite a variety to dive into and research about, especially if you're trying to find 'the one'.
I found myself turning towards the Ovale brands and started with the emini (looks like a cigarette) then as time went on, i went ahead and bought myself a proVari.

So lesson of this story is.. Even Blu Cigs can help out someone, even though.... Anyways do some research and find the one that's best for you

I see the quite a few folks pushing ego type vs cigalikes to noobs. I totally understand because I own both. However, I honestly love my cigalike for many occasions. Good cartos work really well in a small package. I'm partial to the volt. I like the manual batts a lot. 2 charged batts and 2 cartos keep me happy for many hours when I'm out and about.

However, at my desk and at night in my house I stick to a vv/evod setup. I love that too. Definitely more control and better vape/taste but that doesn't mean that I think cigalikes don't perform well. My volt gives a great big and flavorful hit and it's tiny in comparison to my vv/evod. I don't think I'll ever stop using my cigalike when the time calls for it. Super easy to carry and just screw on a cart and go. You can have 5 flavors on hand that fit in a tic tac box.

I think noobs should own both. I got my 1100mah vv/evod with charger and 5 heads for $35. You can do a basic starter with a volt, get an extra 808 threaded batt, and 5 blank cartos for less than that. Just add some juice and vape on. I'm only partial to Volts because their cartos work so well. They usually last 5-7 refills (maybe more. I don't pay that close attetion).

Hi, thanks to all of you for your responses. Have to admit there is so much I don't understand there is a lot of jargon to be learned. I know I should do more research, but I am pressed in time since I have this trip coming up. Just looking for an easy solution that helps me for a short period of time. Seems there is some consensus on the the Volts, so I'll check that out first.
