Hi Everyone,

I am totally new to vaping and haven't even tried it yet but been doing lots of research and feel overwhelmed by all the options. I am hoping to get some advice from everyone here on the best starter kit to purchase for my situation. I am a long time smoker (25) years of virginia slim lights (regular) not menthol. I smoke about a 1/2 to 1 pack a day. I think a KR808 model would be good for me as I want a very low hassle option to start with. My question is what starter kit would be best? I was thinking of the V2, Safecig or Green smoke since they seem to be the most talked about on the web for newbies but then I was reading posts here and introduced to many more names. Also, any advice on a Flavor that would be closest to a virginia slim light. Any advice or help you can provide would be very appreciated.

Thanks,
Sasha

I'm a 'former' Virginia Slims (Menthol) Smoker. My vaping tastes have evolved radically over the past few years but I've found the "GO-GO" Starter Kit a good bet for the following reasons;

* Cost - $80.00 for complete two ecig starter kit with (five) pre-filled Cartos: GO-GO KIT

* Batteries last up to two days between charges (depending upon how heavily you vape)

* Cartomizers - (GO-CARTS hold 3ml of Nic Juice & Go-Tanks can hold up to 2 ml. (I vape all day on 2-3 ml) - The Cartos are really no muss, no fuss but once you've acclimated to vaping you should really switch to the GO-Tanks (GO GO PREMIUM TANKS) as the vapor, flavor and throat hit are unparalleled. I really do insist that in time you do this :thumb:

Be sure to order the PRE-FILLED Cartos when you re-order. (Five pre-filled Cartos will come with your Kit but you'll need to specify the flavor and strength. I recommend 24 mg nic strength so you resist the urge to go back to analogs. I also recommend the flavor "EASY-BORO-USA Mix" as I personally believe this tastes most like regular Tobacco. I loved Menthol when I was smoker... hate it with vaping, so this natural Tobbacco flavor would most likely suit you. You can obtain that here: EASY LIQUID 10ML BOTTLES 24MG

You have LOTS to consider and I can certainly relate. Been in your shoes and glad I'm no longer there... Best of luck in your quest for Vaping Nirvana. Keep the faith... you'll get there. :vapor:

2 900mAH EGO batteries, a couple of CE4 Clearomizers, Ego charger, and 2 10ml bottles of your favorite flavor e-juice.

For me this is the setup requires the least maintenance, and Works all day long. The EGO-C and eCab systems are nice but I think they require a little more experience.

My setup costs less than a carton of cigarettes. Not alot of upfront investment and if you don't like it all you are out is ~$60.

Dude I just picked up the Variable Voltage MyGo Version 2.0 Starter Kit (Variable Voltage MyGo Electronic Cigarette) for $50 with the ego connector and it is a huge upgrade for me from my ego. I suggest picking up ce2 or ce3 carts if youre a heavy vg vaper though because those other ones only work with pg for me.

there really is just to many options
There are a lot of options out there. I think its best to figure out what you want. Do you want something like a cig? If so something like the Volt or other cig-look alikes are for you. Many people tend to decide to upgrade soon after as they want more vapor, TH, flavor or whatever. So then there are bigger systems you can go to. You should probably start on an Ego, or VV type system, but for some people they really want something that looks like a cig, because thats what they are used to.

I started off with Blu, a week later ordered a V2 system (another cig style system, and then 2 weeks later was ready to move to a VV unit.) I have a friend who bought a cig type system and she is perfectly happy with it, and I don't know if she will ever upgrade. So I guess the question is do you want a cig style, or are you ok with something bigger?

And don't be afraid to start a thread and ask questions. Everyone here started off at the same place as you, and many are willing to help to try and make it as easy as possible for you. :)
