Wow, this is such great info from all of you - I appreciate it so very much!

I ended up ordering the Volt Pro starter kit today (was really planning on not spending any more money right now, but hubby said go for it, so I did!) I got two 78mm batteries. Hurry up, Mr. Mailman!!

For a starter, very good choice. Once you decide to move up alittle and get alittle more comfortable check out gotvapes.com for the Phoenix bottom coil, very good addition to the volt. SI is also getting there own version of the Phoenix sometime soon so you can get it from them. They give alot better taste and vape but do require you to a syringe to fill them but it is easy.

Did you end up getting the Mega PCC or the slider style charger with your pro kit? I got myself the Mega PCC, the new one, when I ordered mine. Works very good for my use but keep in mind that the batteries won't fit into either case if the carts are on them. The mega does allow ya to keep 3 carts and 2 batts total in the case tho.

Good luck to yaz and happy vap'n!

As with any batt the time can be longer or shorter depending on how you vape.

That’s very true, a Kgo will last me months or years if I don’t vape it :D
But in his example he was comparing how long his respective batteries lasted him, so I’m assuming that when he vapes his volt or he vapes his Kgo that he’s vaping just as much with each. If you're going to compare the two you have to assume that, otherwise you're just being dishonest.

Saying that a Volt will only last 2 hours but a Kgo will last days for the same person vaping the same resistance attachments and vaping just as much doesn’t add up.

They're good quality devices and the customer service is all it's cracked up to be. Be sure to put one on the charger as soon as it dies, while you vape the other. You may want to get a 3rd battery, and I believe someone gave you a method to get that for free. Take advantage of the great community of Smokeless Image fans on here!

Above all, have fun NOT smoking!

You will most likely be very happy with that kit. I got a kit from Smokeless Image with two 78mm. I did the Faces of Volt pic and got a nice bottle of juice that I liked from the sample cartos I tried. I'm going to be getting the CE3 when it comes in at SI so I can try a "more pure" vape.

When getting or taking advice here on ECF, remember that people are passionate about this - really passionate. Its a great community. I love analogies so here goes one for this thread. Think of someone who decides to take up jogging. They go out and get a pair of shoes. After jogging for a while that person will likely come to one of two conclusions. 1) They love the shoes they bought and when they wear out they will simply replace with the same model. 2) They like the shoes, but they decide to "upgrade" to something that has longer wear or different type of support in them. That is essentially what will happen with your vaping. Either the Volt will be a great fit and you may do a mod here or there down the road or fill cartos for years. You also could decide you want something bigger because you vape all day long nonstop and need something different.

You've got a great start and will find out in the weeks or months to come. If you find out the Volt doesn't exactly fit your needs, post up a thread stating what you have and what need isn't being met. People will jump all over the thread giving you lots of opinions and advice. You landed on the right forum :)

I got the Mega PCC - looking very forward to receiving my kit. Making do with the Blu in the interim!

OH! Post back what you think of the Mega PCC. I've been thinking of getting one of those for the road trip to see the parental units. I'd love to have something I could take for the weekend without having to compete with my phones, tablets and laptop for wall receptacle space.

The mega pcc is great. Takes about 3-4 hours to charge and will charge your battery 3-4 times. It holds 2 batteries and 3 cartos (though I don't use cartos anymore).

I use it on trips. I put 2 batteries in there and carry the one I'm vaping. Since it takes 3 hours to charge a battery, I always have 6 hours of batteries charged while one is charging

How does the PCC fit in your pocket? Is it comfortable or annoying? I'm looking for a new kit to replace my V2 kit that I started with. Thanks

Thats what I got and love it. It charges my 78mm about 5 times before I have to recharge the PCC. 5 batts + me = about 2 fulls days if not alittle longer of charge. It also allows you to hold some carts in it which is really nice so they aren't sitting in you pocket. The real kicker for me is, I have a radio in my car that has a USB hookup and can charge my volt or even the PCC right from it without the need of them special car adapters. For the Volt I simply use my PC charger and for the PCC I simply use the USB cord that came with it. Anyone getting a volt I would highly recommend getting the Mega PCC.

Think of a pack of 100's but just a hair thicker. I just put it next to a deck of playing cards and it is just as wide and thick and about an inch taller. Hopefully that gives you an idea on the size.
