I've recently switched from my initial cartomizer-based KR808D-1 (e.g., Vapor King) to the DSE801 penstyle (with an 801 Puresmoker passthrough on order). It was the limitations and expense of the disposable cartomizer that caused me to switch. But one of the things I like about the cartomizer concept -when I'm out and about - is that it is more portable and less messy than dealing with the e-liquids (with which I am having fun DIYing at home).

So what does all this have to do with the 510? [No I didn't get lost; I know which subforum this is.:)]

I love the concept of a PCC (for when I am "out and about"). I almost chose blu as my first e-cig because of it. [That e-cig will always have a special place in my heart, like the wistful memories I have about the pretty girls in high school, whom I never had the courage to ask out. <- there should be an emoticon for "sigh"]

To my knowledge, there is no PCC for the KR808D-1. [The G300 comes close, but requires a shorter battery ... and it's expensive.] You 510ers seem to have a lock on the mini*-sized PCC.
* "mini" as in mini e-cig (vs. penstyle or super mini), not miniature PCC
I've found that my penstyle battery charges without a problem in the KR808D-1 chargers. So that got me thinking: The KR808D-1 battery appears to be the same length as the 510 battery, but I don't know about threading or watts/voltage/etc. [A couple months ago, wegster posted in a thread (now closed) that one was male and the other was female. That might be good for heterosexual dating;), but I suspect that it is bad news for this purpose.:(]

Does anyone know if the KR808D-1 battery will fit and be charged in the 510 PCC?

Thanks!

and 808 batteries are probably close to an inch longer than 510 batteries.

..only the ones that are close to an inch longer are close to an inch longer.

808 batteries come in three different lengths...the shortest of which is the same length as a 510 battery.
