Here and back
Looking forward to it! I see people poking around for news on "VK1"...

And BTW, I love the new VG line of cartos too by the way. Nice to have a mix.

If I could be so presumptious as too make a few suggestions, you guys have excellent customer service but imo you are missing a couple of supporting products to make V4L a one stop shop. These are the things I have to go elsewhere to get hold of:
1. Bulk Blanks...a 50 blank option saves us converted folks some money compared to buying five at a time.
2. 0mg Doublers...ala Tasty Vapor style, so you can customize as needed mg w/out killing flavor.
3. Adaptors..."whatever to KR" adaptors (ala Health Cabin) could get people ordering cartomizers before they commit to all the supplies that go along with adopoting a new model of e-cig.
4. A 5 Volt mod and batteries...or even better a magic battery that is normal size and produces 5 volts (okay, that last may not be likely).
5. Am I the only person who would like a case that has four long slots? I can always put a cart in a battery slot, but for the life of me I can't fit a battery in a carto slot. Even better, a longer case that could hold four batteries with the cartos on them. I think I'm getting off track here, the other stuff is really the one stop shop stuff.

Anyway, I dig your shop and would love to have a one stop supplier. Unless you take over the world and become evil like Walmart, then I'd have to go elsewhere on principle.
Yes, yes and yes to all the above. Certainly a good carrying case for more batts as well as the long batts. With the proper case we could leave the house with one little case, carts, batts and perhaps a spot for 10ml of juice????

The cases for the xls are on the way in the next few weeks and I believe they hold 4 batteries if I am not mistaken and 4 or 8 cartos. Someone chime in here if I'm wrong. And a mod is also on the way, but no one is giving any details yet.

I could go for the bulk blank cartos and they do offer zero nic juice I believe, but not the same way TV does, that would be a plus for me, too, to pay less for zero nic juice in larger bottles of it.

Yeah, there's a lot of money out there that could be sent to V4L that is going other places, there's no doubt about that.

Anyone find the pre-filled KR808D-1 carts harsh? Marl & RY4 flavors @24MG. I've tried puffing a bit before actually vaping, but no fix.

I'm trying to get the factory juice out. I've tried sticking in hot water then using compressed air to blow out..not enough to mess up the atty or packing. STILL harsh.

Now its sitting in 100 proof vodka. I like the idea of the carts, but always end up coughing quite a bit. Almost like if I were to smoke an analog, non-filter camel! If I keep trying to take small draws off of it, eventually I can get over it, but I don't enjoy it like I'd hope I would.

Any suggestions or maybe I need different carts like greensmoke or something?

Some of the cartos are harsh for me. Others I find very smooth to vape. Also, when I first started everything made me cough, I had to really build up to taking bigger puffs slowly. The higher the nic level, the harsher they are to me. I started with 36mg. omg! I moved down to 24 and still harsh but not as much and some flavors were actually smooth at 24mg, but 18 seems to be where I need to be on that, even so, certain juices are harsh to me still.

I'm thinking you probably need a lower nic level, like 18 or even 11. The KR8 is known for it's strong throat hit. :)

Check out vapor4life.com (this is their sub-forum) for lots of flavor & strength choices. They even have some VG cartos and those will lower the throat hit even more.

Let us know how it goes!

BTW, getting all (or nearly all) of the juice out is very simple. After you pop off the cap & remove the 0-ring, blow through the carto from the mouth end. Be sure to use a napkin to catch the juice or blow it into the sink. Blowing this way seems to create a vortex which will pull an amazing amount of juice out.

When you've gotten most of the juice out that way, run the hottest water your faucet will put out. Let it run into the mouth end and use pliers or something to hold it so you don't scald your fingers.

Blow the water out as above. Do the rinse - blow again as many times as you want.

Refill and enjoy!

WTF:confused:I dont even have a 901!:confused:Do you?

Just playing. And yeah, I do keep some 901 attys around (actually RN4075, same thing). And they do suck for a full time e-cig. I keep them around because they only take 3 or 4 drops to get started so they are good for sampling different flavors if you aren't ready to commit a new carto and wait out the soak time. They are my sampling stuff atty, they aren't good for much else. I use them on Vapor King manual pass thru by removing the whistle tip, slipping a VK condom on for lip insulation, and direct dripping flavors for testing.

V4L used to sell GreenTech's that were pretty smooth with less TH, but a huge pain in the .... to refill. Also, if you ordered VG most find that to be harsher than the PG.

As far as cleaning cartos, I just never had the energy for it. I'll drain "old dirty juice" with the tissue paper method but that is about as far as I go. I refill with compatible flavors or use a blank to start a new flavor I want to keep pure. I'll eventually go back to the other flavor. Use all cartos to death, that's my motto...or one of them anyway.

I'm cornfused.

Doesn't V4L have 0mg for nearly every juice? I could have sworn I've gotten all excited repeatedly only to hit the drop-down and find only 0mg available...

Yeah, you are right on that point, I guess it is pretty obvious that you can accomplish the end goal usually...if the right juices are in stock. The TV style is more of a marketing and value thing really - if you order juice they point you to the doublers and they charge less for the 0mg - you end up with a lot of juice for not a lot of money.

No you're not. A case that can hold an assembled VK would be great. I'm not missing this on the website am I?

The main difference between V4L's KR808D-1 battery and other companies is the cut off and slight airflow modifications. V4L also offers a wide variety of sizes and colors.

The differences in the cartomizers is V4L's are filled to 1ml where some are filled lower. V4L cartomizers are filled with V4L juices. Plus the label differences, color and such. And also the greatest selection of cartomizer flavors.

I choose V4L as my supplier due to the fantastic reviews right here in the forums, the wonderful warantee, and the built in support group this sub forum gives. I keep V4L as my supplier because they have gone above and beyond, they even have someone in China directly working with their product, and they keep coming out with new things!

Taryn...OMG hahaha, I LOVE your icon! I saw that and just died laughing :3

But yeah, just wanted to comment that this is some really great info. My first e-cig was from Greensmoke and after doing a bit more research I went with the KR and sent back that crap from greensmoke. I love my KR! The only problem I have is I haven't found any fruity flavors from V4L I like, so I stick with the menthols (which is what I smoked before). Most of the fruity flavors I've tried have a flowery taste except cherry, which I just ordered a bunch of.
Oh, and Mdew of course...can't wait to get that one in the mail :D

Oh, this should definately be a sticky xP
