I ordered the KR808D-1 Ultimate Kit from Drew in the middle of the night Wednesday and it was in my mailbox Saturday. You just can't do any better than that. Everything was securely packaged and I got everything I ordered plus a couple extras, a package of cartomizers and a handy plastic storage container. The liquids I ordered were 555 menthol (my main vape these days), and new flavors for me: Vanilla Coke and Cuban Apple. I'm vaping the Vanilla Coke now and it's a bit sweet but very tasty. The Cuban Apple I haven't tried yet.

This is the first time I've used a PV with a cartomizer and I am pleased with it. I used one all last night and got consistant taste and vapor production. I was using 555 24mg carts and found it very satisfying. I can see why it has so many fans.

Now for my overnight experiences with the PCC:

From what I've been able to gather the light on the top is for the PCC and the the one on the bottom is for the battery. I've noticed that when I put a battery in to be charged the light on the bottom turns red, and if the battery is charged it will go out but will blink once every 5 seconds or so. This is with the KR808D batteries. When the PCC is charged the top light turns green and goes out completely once it's removed from an external power source.

With the SLB marked 901 batteries the bottom light never goes off. I left one charging overnight, with the PCC plugged into a USB port and when I got up this morning the bottom light was still red. However, when I plug that same battery into a standard USB charger it "appears" to have a full charge on it. I tried a second SLB marked 901 battery with the same results. However I'm not positive these batteries were completely drained before putting them in the PCC and will test that later. Unmarked 901 batteries (silver ones I ordered from someone here in the classifieds) seem to act in the same fashion as the KR808D batteries, light goes out when done charging and changes to the 5 second blink. After comparing the two 901 batteries I noticed that the unmarked ones have a slightly longer thread than the SLB ones and that may be the reason.

I didn't get instructions with the PCC so I don't know if my experiences are typical or not. I'm also guessing that once your battery is charged it's probably a good idea to unscrew it to avoid draining the PCC with the blinking light. Please post your experiences with the PCC for comparison! Thanks!

Laynies I dont know how I missed this before , but very well done...I wish I had more time togo through some of these posts and comment more effectively..Below is absolutley correct.

I am currently working on manuals for Drews products as time permits.

The PCC is working exactly as it is suppose to with the KR808D-1 batteries. As far as charging the 901's I don't know, i don't own one.

I'm finding out however that there is a difference in batteries and chargers and interacting with them and even with power supplies.

When i use one of Drews USB chargers with a KR808D-1 battery, it charges better when it is plugged and recharged in the PCC as apposed to plugging the usb into my computer. This may be because the PCC has a little more voltage it passing to the battery, I'm not sure.

With that in mind I wondering if the voltage is off a little bit in the 901 for the use with the PCC. Either way as long as its charging it doesnt make a different because having the light on doesnt take much juice at all. That light could stay on for days without using much juice.

Keep us updated please. Thanks
