Hi everyone;

I'm trying to find a white battery for a KR808D-1 style ecig. Well, actually I'm attempting to compile my own 'starter' kit using the KR808D-1 look. It's for a friend who specifically wants the white battery with orange LED (so it looks most like an analogue). But for some reason, I can only seem to find them in black or silver... am I missing something? I did see that 'Bolt' model but the place I was looking had no refillable cartomizers in stock. The bolt certainly looks similar but I wouldn't want to risk 'frankensteining' a kit and ending up with something unusable or dangerous. I'd love any suggestions!

My set up is white with an orange LED, but it was the commercially available 'Smoke NV' starter kit I bought at the mall. It was a major waste of money considering the cartomizers it came with were 0 nic (I'm in Canada) but now I'm almost wondering if it's worth it to get the 'look' I'm after! That, or I suppose I could purchase a black battery and put it on my ecig and give my friend my old white one...

Thanks therealcmac - I was looking at that model, but unfortunately they are out of stock on the empty cartomizers. If the volt takes *any* kr808d-1 cartomizer, I can use the supplier I already found that's close by for those. How do I find out if it's the same model?
Maybe this is what you are looking for White or Silver 65mm Batteries ?

lol i saw that you had looked at the "Bolt" and thought it was something else :) And i didnt notice that they were out of cartos, i just ordered my mom a kit with some, must have got the last ones....Anyhow i am 95% sure that the battery connection will work on any kr808d-1 cartos, I have tested it backwards only though i bought some cartos from them and they work fine on my vapornine battery, i have not recieved the Volt kit yet. you can wait for a more experienced member to chime in though just to be sure. looks like you can also get white with orange tip from here KR808D-1 Batteries

Hah - oops! I meant to type Volt! Looks like they are out of stock on the batteries. :(

I might just give up, get a starter kit with the black battery and give her the white one I'm using. I really think the analogue feel is only necessary for the first few days... and now that I'm past that I could probably switch to the black battery without losing my battle. :/

i am seeing them as in stock on both sites hmmm....are you sure? the BestVapour site says it has 10 batteries in stock...and i believe they are also in Alberta, i shot them an email to see when they will have more cartos in stock as well as if the threading is universal.

Ahh, I see my issue. I was trying to add three of the white batteries to my cart and it was out of stock. No problem when I tried to add just one. I figured she should have a back up battery and I should too, for that matter!

CDNVapor is in Alberta and shipped amazingly fast last time I ordered, so I'm sitting here with a full cart and trying to decide if it's cheaper to put together the starter kit myself, or just go ahead and buy a kit from them with the black batteries and load up on more juice. Hmmm....

definately a good idea to have backup batteries as the smaller kr808's are not gonna have the charge of say and EGO battery....you might also want to consider a PCC. I would say a starter kit would be more economical, especially if you need chargers and juice. I scour the web every night looking for the best deals, it is half the fun of Vaping lol, or maybe i am just crazy :)

Nope, it's fun for sure. It's hard to do too much scouring though, I'm waiting on the list of Canadian vendors equipment / juice pm... :p

I guess I'm anxious because I know that every day I delay in placing this order is another day she's smoking the analogues. She was using my ecig with me the other day and only smoked one analogue the whole day. And if I'm being completely honest - it also means I get to add a few more flavors of juice to my collection sooner. ;)

HaHa, ya i am pawning off all the juices i dont like to my mother, maybe she will like them is what i think ;) Only advice i can give is make sure you will be happy with whatever you choose, i found an awesome price on eGo-t kits from a canadian vendor and bought one for me (just for the batteries, cheaper to buy the kit) and one for her, then she said she would like something that looks more like a smoke, so i bought her the Volt kit...i am rambling now. It is a learning process with many, many variables. you will get your list soon, Mindfield is a great guy.

Don't forget you can get adaptors for 808 battery to 510 carto or vice-versa so you can have some flexibility if you want it. the adaptor adds about 1/2" to the length but I think it's worth it to be able to use 510 cartos with my 808 battery. I think the 1/2" shiny nickel band around the cig looks cool too. Happy Vaper got in a shipment of bloog batteries a little while ago so you may be able to find one there.
