Recently purchased an hcigar kraken clone(not a fan of supporting the chinese but 135+ is a chunk of coin i will never spend on an atty) and boy i could not be happier. I am however trying to find a sweet spot in build set up and ohms. I've only built it 3 times all single coil 28 gauge. 2 of the coils where 4/5 wrap wide coils above 1 ohm and the current is a 4/5 microcoil wrap at .75 ohms, 28 gauge with cotton right now because i ran out of 2mm silica. I find the silica wicks great but takes a great finesse to set up. Cotton on the other hand is so easy to set up and a breeze to replace but doesn't really permit me to change vape. What do you fellow kraken lovers find works best for chain vaping? Thanks!!

Sure, what I do is a standard horizontal mircocoil and thread the cotton into the coil I then take the excess cotton and just lay it over one of the wick holes. Then you juice 'er up and vape away when your wicks get dry you tilt and watch the bubbles go up and its "dripping" into the cotton. Make sure that coil is right over your air flow though or it will be harsh.

Awesome thanks for sharing! You only stick to cotton?

I looovvveee cotton and I warrped that 28g wire on 28g wire comes out to .5 ohms but personally I feel 1.5-1.8 is the best for me and I can use all my devices with that ohm range the super nano was an experiment it was a little hot for my tastes but the vapors were everywhere. This is my favorite build on my genny so far everyone says the genny is dead but this is about on par with my twisted russian build 1.7 ohms 11 wraps on a 5/64 drill bit

Ahh thanks for sharing your build! This is why I joined this forum to meet cool vapers! So you find 1.7 ohms a great balance between flavor and vapor production? I currently have a .75 ohm micro coil 28gauge and it's actually very cool vape I would even say cold. The other day I had a .54 ohm build kinda warm but man it was hitting like a dripper but it was eating my juice. I'm just trying to find my sweet spot. I feel dual coils are not needed on gennys no science to my answer just preference.

I have a similar belief in fact I bloody hate dual coils they eat juice and battery life just IMO I know there are alot of hardcore dual coil fans I'm just not one. Of course like taste builds toppers mods are all subjective which makes it hard as hell to find a good set up. You will find the elusive sweet spot.you just gotta keep digging :vapor:
