hi david. I'm D in oklahoma. just wanted to say i'm really loving your P18. the button is a little hard to push, but spacers should fix that.
as you know it was a gift from a forum member. he is a very special buddy. biggest heart ever. he and i started vaping about the same time, so we share every trick and tip that will help us succeed in our experience. he got a P18 and loved it so much, he called me one day and said I'm having one sent to you.
he and i have had homemade 18650 mods so that has been our battery of choice for many reasons... MAh and reliable chargers. the 10440's and 14550's and their chargers were too quirky. The 18650 is like a tank.
so i've been limping along with my KR 280mah batteries, some broken down 901's (auto and manual) and really getting tired of the high replacement turnover with them. the P18 could not have come at a better time for me!
we all know about the aesthetic qualities of your precise (and previous super T versions) but what striked me so much beyond that is the well thought out design.
i can lay it on a table and no fear of a button getting pushed. no rolling it just right so the atomizer doesn't autofire. i just lay it down and walk away
i hit the button and instant sizzle! no waiting. no finagling the cheap buttons to get them just right to fire. click - sizzle -done
i've been going through a lot of juice with my atomizers and getting little joy. towards the end I decided it was the batteries, not the atomizers or the juice. wimpy power = wimpy vapor and wasted juice. I did more blowing out of excess juice in my atties than dripping. it just wasn't heating up right.
those same atties are monsters on the P18.
i like the stainless, because i can trust that it's built like a tank. i get the dropsies a lot from bad hands, so i know the P18 will outlast my klutziness.
my son saw it last night and went wow - very nicely machined.
the quality is impeccable.
the function is outstanding.
i am using WAY less juice now, because it vaporizes every drop that i put in there. I am SATISFIED every hit. the nic buzz is even back, so i'm going to have to cut my nic down. It's so much more than a tube and a battery.
most of all i am no longer frustrated with vaping. omg tshooting vaping has to be the most frustrating thing. only a dedicated vaper would put up with it that's for sure. i've been off cigarettes for about 17 months now and never could have done it w/o ecigs, so i have been total committed to making it work.
Not having to deal with inferior parts anymore, i can finally enjoy the free time i will have, because the P18 has not only cleaned up my charging area, stash of batteries, passthrough, wall wort, etc, but it's cleaned up my life. seriously. what a joy to vape - done - go do something else.
thank you so much david. for those sitting on the fence because of the cost, it really is a bargain, especially if you already have a stock of 18650's or 3.0's on hand and a charger. it gets pricy to keep buying diff batteries for different mods.
because of the generous gift, i was able to gift back extra parts to my friend. that makes this mod one that will be a lifer. tops, bottoms, springs, buttons. mix and match how ever you want and you have a mod that will last forever. nothing to break. nothing to fiddle with. ends the constant flow of batteries orders incoming a few at a time.
not much of a reviewer, but i just wanted to say thank you. no need to search for something more.
