I just got off the phone with Butch "The Cottonman" a cotton farmer from North Carolina. Talk about a cool dude - almost like Rob with a North Carolina Accent. A pleasure to talk with.
I called to inquire about his natural cotton products and he told me that the natural pima (you should see this stuff on his website) is already being sold as wicks and it looks like it is a killer product. He mentioned that he is in the process of getting certified organic cotton for us vapers too. I asked him about the possibility of also getting lab certification that it is chemical free. (because I don't like to boil and have zero desire or experience doing it) .He said that that is entirely possible and he would look into it. I suggested that maybe I could request that interested parties email him to express their interest in this type of product so he could gage interest.
So, if you are interested (I sure as heck am) in certified chemical free long strand cotton from a US supplier, how bout you email Butch at: fbyrum@cottonman.com
Heres his site and theNatural PIMA that you can buy now (but I think he recommended boiling it) Pima cotton sliver
