What did you think of the sample bro? Is it awesome ?

Actually I just tore into it today. It seems to soak up more juice than the KGD although a little slower initially. Taste is about the same but re-wicking is even easier, no strips to cut and it is already rolled/spun to the correct size for my normal coils. I will be hounding VAScooter for more when this sample piece gets down to a foot. Zero waste other than the point I twist to ease insertion. I used less than an inch to re-wick a dual coil Cyclone. I would gladly trade a brand new box of KGD for 2oz of this stuff.

I'm definitely interested in some! I've been using the organic cotton from CVS, huge bag for $4.00. Boiled it in a big pot for thirty minutes, drained, rinsed four times with filtered water squeezing it out each time, let it dry for about 48 hours. All I taste is juice from the first hit. The cotton I've tried from different vape shops was awful, they even were supposed to be pre boiled.

So many wick choices. This is a good thing, except for those of us who have ample supply of:

CVS Sterile Rolled Cottom
Aunt Lydia's Bamboo Crochet Thread
2mm ReadyXwick
3mm ReadyXwick

And I know some of you have these plus ko gen do and now this...... :)

The readyXwick has been a real PITA recently for me. The technique I tout in this forum about wrapping over a Q-Tip shaft and using 3mm RXW has not been working for me. Dry hits galore. One decent hit then dry as hell. Not a great vape day today. I will be racing up the stairs when I get home to recoil and use some good ole CVVS Sterile Rolled Cotton as my wick. Will revisit the RXW in a week or so.

Russ, you nailed it!

I e-mail Butch about the Pima and this was his response.

"From the field to the gin, from gin to mill, clean carded and combed. All mechanical processes no bleaches or anything applied to the cotton. It is the longest cotton fiber grown"

Sample on the way.

It's great that chemicals are not applied to the cotton during processing but I have to wonder if pesticides/herbicides and fertilizer are applied in the field.

Yes I believe there certainly could be pesticides applied. That's why we need some lab tested stuff :)

Tree, do you think boiling would remove pesticides bro ?

I should think it would depend on how many wash and rinse cycles one is willing to do and even then it would still be of some concern and more trouble than it's worth. I would much rather have something that is certified organic from the field from a trusted source. But that's just me.:)

Yeah... Certified from the lab is definitely the easiest route... A good buddy of mine sent me some kgd pads and I have barely made a dent in that... What am I supposed to do with so many options? Hahah... Lifetime supply here I come!!!
