Thought I'd throw this idea out there. Nail decals is something suggested to me. Those little 'gems' you can get to bling your cell phone too. Sharpies and nail polish are an option. Little stickers of any kind are helpful - even when you might use the lables from canning and freezing goods.

You know those sealing units you can get to seal up like sandwich bags and things? It's heated and all? You can make your own bags to the right size and then reuse. Easy, economical and can be customized per person. This way you can make your own little carrying case that might be 'spill proof'. :)

have a good day all. ;):)

I found that any sticker that leaves a lot of glue on the cart or the atty is more of a problem than having no markings at all. I found the ink from sharpies to not stay on long enough to make that worthwile either. The 3M colored plastic tape works perfectly. But then, everyone is on their own journey. People just have to find out some things for themselves.

I thought this was common knowledge, but I believe at least some common models of attys and batteries are already uniquely individually marked with serial numbers. I keep lists of the serial numbers to track purchase date, old/new, cause of failure, etc.

On my 901's and 510's, the serial numbers are stamped into the metal on the flat surfaces of the gold colored battery connectors on the battery and the atty. They are seriously tiny. You need to get a strong magnifying glass, wipe off the surface, and look at them with a strong light to see them well. Or be nearsighted like me.

For example, the DSE 901 atty and battery I happen to have in my pocket at the moment has the following numbers:

SLB BD 80503 (the BD 80503 part is the battery serial number)
SLB BF 64451 (BF 64451 is the atomizer serial number)
SLB means Sai Le Bao...Sailebo, the original 901 manufacturer, so the atomizer and battery are not knockoffs, and I don't know what BD and BF means, it may just be an incrementing two character alphanumeric.

Perhaps a more knowledgeable member can weigh in on this with more information.

No serial numbers on cartridges, but first they are so cheap why bother and second you can easily scratch on them with a needle or hobby knife blade or something if you really wanted to mark them permanently.

go to an art store and get some paint pens. I get the ultra fine tip. I have white and metallic gold. perfect for making little dots on attys to line up the carts. and for writing flavor names on the little 3ml bottles from US Plastics that I fill to take with me to work.
they will write on anything, even carts, and it doesn't come off! Nail art stickers also work, and stay on surprizingly well.
I also intended to be organized and dedicate a cart for each flavor so I wrote OC on the bottom part (the part that slides into the atty) of my orange creamsicle cart, P&C on my pralines & cream cart, RY4, etc..but quickly I realized I am a hopeless case, I'm a mixin' fool, I am always adding a few drops of a different flavor onto whatever I'm vaping so my carts are usually a mixture of 2 or 3 flavors, like praline/choc/caramel (yum)
+1 on the paint pens.

I don't bother with different colors, though. I just use a gold one to mark carts. Primary flavor gets no marking. Next fav gets one gold dot and a third gets two parallel lines near the bottom of the cart. That's it for me. I don't use a lot of different flavors on a regular basis, so a simple code works well. If you use a lot of different flavors lettering might be better.

Applied carefully the gold will look like a logo intended to be there, especially on a black cart. Wiping off excess e-liquid will tend to rub the gold marks off after a while, but re-applies easily.
