Lacking Vape Production

I'm using a Smoktech magneto mod
Patriot rda
IMR 18650 35A battery
Max VG juice with 2mg of nicotine
and 26 guage kanthal
My wraps are tight and as close as can be together yet I am getting barely any vapor. I am getting okay flavor out of my builds, but it seems that no matter what build i try i end up with the same results each time with little vapor. I would like to get a great amount of vapor coming out of my mod and amazing flavor, but I have no idea how to change this. Any help is appreciated.

do you know what ohm coils you have? also what type of wicking are you using?
I use 1.3 ohm coils with organic cotton wicking running at 11 watts. I am not a cloud chaser but have plenty of vapor. You may want to watch some videos on you tube about rebuilding. They can help you with using the correct type and amount of wick for your set up as well as the best microcoil build.

what ohms have you got.

what voltage under load

what about wicking.

are the airholes drilled open?

usually an 8 wrap with a 1/8 diameter
do not know my ohms about to go get one today
Then is there a certain way my organic cotton should be placed on my atomizer? I've seen through the coils and them some surrounding the coil. I usually just run it through the coil, because of the 1/8 diameter i have.

The cotton has to be pressing lightly and completely against the coils all the way across to get good vapor. You may have already checked that, but it's important. I usually twist the end of the cotton tightly to give me a starter end that's thinner than the coil. As I pull it through the larger part enters the coil. There's a sweet spot to find. To tight or too loose and the vapor falls off.

You must first be able to read your ohms. I get plenty of vapor with a 6 wrap 1.0 ohm coil using 28 gauge Kanthal and organic cotton. Wicking will depend on what RBA RBA your using. With my kayfun and taifun I put the cotton through the coil. I also temper my coils with a torch and coold water. I use a 3/4 in screw driver bit to wrap the coil, then squeeze it together with tweezers then torch the coil red hot then place into cool water. This holds the shape of the coil nicely and these coils are about 1.0 ohms. Hope this helps. This works great for me and I get great vapor!

One issue may be airflow. Some RDA's come w/ a very small air hole and as such many people end up drilling them out to a larger size. Also, if your Patriot has 2 air holes you may wanna try a dual coil set-up.

I have achieved the best results w/ a dual coil 'nano-dragon' aka chimney coil setup. I do 28ga X 10 wraps on a regular large paperclip (which is app 1mm) = app 1ohm per coil, so .5ohms total for dual coils. This should get you great vapor while staying well withing safe amp draws from your battery. I use cotton or cellulocotton / rayon for the wick if you have it. This is how my set-up is done----\/

On my ohmmeter it says i have a .81 ohms

Are you using an auto ranging voltmeter or one of the lower priced models. Most of the economy models don't auto zero, which means that the resistance of the meter leads is added to the reading when you read a coil. If your meter reads zero when you hold the leads together, then it's auto ranging. If you read something other than zero, it's not auto ranging. My Harbor Freight meter reads .4 ohms lead resistance. My Simpson digital auto zeroes.

Just checking, because a .81 ohm coil might be .4 ohms if it's not an auto ranging meter.

A picture of your build would be most helpful. Do you have an airhole pointed at your coil because your air hole and the amount of wicking you have in there can effect vapor output. I wouldnt drill my holes out until you have double checked and re-checked everything. You wont be able to make them smaller ;) You should be getting a fair amount of vapor with your setup.

the air holes are a 1.5 and on this build it is a 12 wrap of 26 guage kanthal
