Oh my...there are so many lol

Llike the time I was studying for my insurance agent test and was having to stay up late (I was pretty "slappy" at that point). Went into a coffe shop and met my brother there for a snack. The waitress came over to take our order and I asked for "undecaffinated" coffee. We were all silent for a few seconds then everyone busted out laughing.

or,

a couple of years ago it had snowed/iced and I was walking to my car and there is a small incline in my driveway. I walked up 3/4ths of the way and started sliding back down. I started laughing still trying to get to my car and did it a couple more times. Looked over and my neighbor was watching me from her porch and was laughing at me. We stood there laughing for the longest time. Miraculously, I never fell!!! LOL

Great job on the shopping rave!!

Sometimes when I go to lunch I will sit in my car and read for a little while before I go back in the building. One day I went back in and got to my desk and realized I didn't have my keys. I call hubby and tell him to bring me the extra set when he has a chance. He does and he goes back to work. When I leave for the day 4 hours later....I unlock my car (at least I thought I did) get in and look for the keys. They are in the ignition and the car is still running :facepalm: It had sit there for 4 hours running and the door unlocked and no one stole it :shock:

That was my lucky day!!!!

ps......I never told DH that

Oh my gosh, the same thing happened to me at the store.
I needed to give the cashier my keys to get the discounts, I can't find my keys........Oh my.......when I get back to my car, there they are and the engine is still running.
I could not believe I did that.
Now I doubble tripple check every time I leave my car.
I did not tell hubby either.
You're lucky that you did not run out of gas......:)

Oooh - the rotten meat! *blech*

Parallel parking is something that I will only accomplish if I get one of those cars that can do it by itself. Haven't done that since I tested for my first driver's license when I was 16.

I did have a particularly embarassing smooth move when I got a new car a few years back. My old car had been on its last legs and had gotten rather loud because it needed to have work done. Well I finally got a new car which I'd driven to that same Walmart (17 miles away). I found a parking spot, parked it carefully, locked the doors using the lock button on the inside of the door, got out, and started to walk away. It then sunk in on me that the car was still running - it was just a heckuva lot quieter than the old beater I was used to. And the key ... was in the ignition. Of course, I had to call my husband to come rescue me with the spare key.

I am a klutlz of a stellar order! My fall last year (the scar is almost "disapeared" by the way). Trying to drive off in a car I USED to own. Grabbing the arm of a strange man and walking with him halfway down a shopping isle until I saw hubby at the other end laughing with the man's wife..the strange man was smiling and going along with it.
As for the keys in the running car thing..I have done that so many times I made a second set to keep in my purse. Last month with my younger Grandson in tow I did it again. Smug thing I am, I reached into my purse for the second set..Yep! They were right there...on the front seat where they had fallen out of my purse! Had to call Mike for rescue. My grandson sat on the roof of the truck to spot Grandpa in a crowdsed Publix parking lot. The boys say it's always an adventure with G'ma! :)
