Alright, who PMed you the lot of you 80% of my reading list???
My bookshelf is currently packed with;
-Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series (Someone mentioned that she went off on a sex tangent in the Anita series. Looks like that is starting to abate, as the last few books have been 'almost' sex scene free, and REALLY good.)
-Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series
-The Harry Potter series
-Paolini's Eragon series
-Christina Dodd's Dark Chosen series
-Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series, specifically Elena's story
-Karen Marie Moning's Fever series
-Karen Chance's Cassie Palmer series.
-Kathy Reichs' Bones series (TV show is based loosely on the books)
-James Patterson's Maximum Ride and Womens Murder Club series
I grew up cutting my teeth on everything from Tolkien, Anthony and Eddings to Koontz, Feist and King. I also adore Catherine Coulter's Sherbrooke Bride series and all the intertwined books she's written to go with them for historical romance. For the last 10 years or so though the story has to have a strong female lead character, (for the most part) and preternatural/supernatural is always a plus.
