I got a kindle fire for Christmas, Yeah!
I downloaded "the book thief" and "imperfect justice" writen by Jeff Ashton, he prosecuted Casey Anthony.
I read "the book thief" years and years ago, I think my friend has it and never gave it back to me.
Anyway I loved that book and can't wait to read it again.

I hope you like it....it is an amazing story....what Juliet does to her main character is just plain mean I have the first 3 books....but I just got a Nook Tablet for Christmas , so I'm going to buy the Heir to Sevenwaters this weekend and read it. The next series that start with Wolfskin and then Foxmask are also really good reads.

I'd really love to get a bunch of Laurell K Hamilton series books and read them in order - especially the vampire hunter series and the gentry series...

The Kindle came with a one month free trial for the Amazon Prime, I'm trying to figure out how to download a free book.
LOL.
Don't worry I'll figure it out one way or the other......
I can watch all kinds of movies for free also.

I've got Prime, but i use the kindle app on my iPad, so don't know if i can borrow or not- but I'm gonna try. also downloaded a bunch of free books from iBooks over the weekend.

Almost done with Daughter of the forest- it's very good. i was really annoyed when i had to turn off my electronics for take off and landing...grrr. 'cause i was at a great part of the book. argh. I'll be finishing it tonight, and will probably get the next ones in the series.

CES.....how was the new Stephen King book?

I really liked it. Enough that I read it in one sitting it wasn't typical King, but he, as usual did some really good things with words

The only Stepehn King book I have read that I wasn't crazy about was "Lisey's Story" I didn't think it was one of his best.
