This is for anyone awaiting the arrival of their GGTS.

If you are anything like I was, you have scoured the internet for every last GGTS picture out there. Fantasizing about your new device, writing poems, anything to alleviate the anticipation. Okay, maybe no writing poems.

In any case, I have taken some pictures and shall share them in their full glorious resolution here.

There's a little bit of ISO noise, sue me.

Beautiful pics! You should try "Mother's Billet Metal Polish" from an auto store. I picked some up recently and it works amazing. In about ten seconds my GGTS shines like a mirror, even the button. I'll post a pic in a sec. Taken with an iPhone so not the best

I might try that. I don't care too much about keeping it shiny. I am happy as long as the threads and contacts are clean.

Keith, you have work again!!!

Who is Keith?

I bother only for the threads and contacts too 5the. But from time to time is nice to see GG changing to new again.

Keith is the man with the avatar name VAPN, and he is one of my big supporters here. He took all the nice pics of GG and he puts them on GG site. :)

How did you do that mike?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbs:
I put my camera on a tripod, and took a few pictures. Between each picture I rotated the GG a little bit. Then, in photoshop, I lined up the images as best I could and made it into an animation. If you have Adobe Photoshop CS4 I can post more specific directions if you want.

cybermike, Love the animation but you really need some Cape Cod cleaning cloths.... Look what they can do....

I've got it all, Vapn. Cape Code cloths, Mothers, Nevrdull, etc.
I even found a 5 inch polishing wheel that attaches to standard drills. That, with Mothers, is how I shined this pic.

I picked some of that up today. It works very well. A little tough to clean out of the threads, but I imagine any such product would be.

Nice, came out beautiful! Love that stuff! I use microfiber auto cloths to polish off the mothers. That helps it come right off and makes the whole process easier. Should have mentioned that before.

I have photoshop 7 mike. I will not do it even if this version has this ability because I have no time for this but your work is really wonderful.!!!
