@ the batteries showing up and liking the unit so much.

And I know what you mean. I like my other PVs but I just haven't been able to use anything else since getting this.

Thank you for the compliment too. Good to know I can be useful now and then ;)

3 months in and all is still functioning perfectly.

Still using the same two batteries that came with the original kit. Just held it under the lamp and do notice a few minor scratches but that's after 3 months of tips, drops, and not babying it and they are still so tiny that I wouldn't be able to see them without having it directly under a light and looking for them.

I did finally let myself grab another unit but have only ended up using it 3 or 4 times at about 10 hours at a time so for the most part the ProVape has still been in constant use the entire 3 months.

Definitely impressed with how well this has held up and functioned so far.

Hey Allan thanks for commenting. Always good to see others who are enjoying theirs too.

Realized I forgot to mention in my last comment that a couple days ago I finally put some OX-GARD on my ProVape threads. After 3 months of use I still hadn't had a single issue with the threads and don't notice any wear on them at all but since I already had it out to use on another device I figured I might as well put some on it.

Well this was the review that sold me on the PV-1. I received it today, along with some LR attys, and was all prepared to wait for the batteries to charge but David @ Provape had already charged them. I'm drippin' Tasty Finger this evening as I write this and I am loving this thing! Only issue so far: I lost my first LR atty. Only got an hour or two of use before I fried it. I may have run it dry. Guess I'll be a bit more careful with the next one.

Not a lot to say this time but I still want to update in order to keep up with the initial idea of a review on the longevity of the unit.

14 weeks in today of pretty much full time use since day one and still not a single issue or misfire. Still looks, feels, and performs just as well as the day it came out of the box. :smokie:

Since this review has still been getting new views every day I thought I would post a link here to the actual Provape thread ....

New Product Coming Soon!

The particular post that the link leads to is one made showing that the 2nd version of the ProVape-1 has now been released and now has added safety features beyond what was in the 1st version along with the warranty being upgraded from one year to a lifetime warranty.

Just thought it was info worth having for those reading the thread and thinking about getting one. :smokie:

I have been thinking about getting the provape for awhile now. Anyone have any regrets on there purchase. If i thought it would truely last I would consider the 14k gold option.:2cool: bling bling lol

Well I can't speak to the 14k gold option since i haven't used that one at all but, as far as the rest of the unit, it is holding up very well. Tomorrow will be 16 weeks in now and not a single issue with my unit at all. :smokie:

Maybe DDBV will happen along and chime in on how well the finish on that gold one of his is holding up.

Thanks Thyestean for the ongoing remarks. I have had mine now for 2 weeks with no failures of any kind.

A comment and a question since you have had yours longer:
I would have liked to have the option of matching SS ends (or anodized) instead of the polished aluminum. The bottom cap on mine has oxidized to closely match the tube and I like that better. I have been trying to finger the adapter so it could look the same.

After 4 months, how do your caps look and have you polished them to keep the shine?

hey lexgar glad yours is working well too.

Personally I like the caps as they are but I can see where having SS caps or matching anodized caps would be a cool option.

I haven't polished mine at all since receiving it and the only form of "cleaning" it has gotten is the occasional wipe down with a papertowel if I happen to leak liquid on it(which doesn't happen often thanks to the reservoir).

As far as how they look 4 months in...

I swear I took about 20 different pics but for some reason no matter which settings I used I can't get a better pic today. I'd say the bottom cap has lost its shine a bit but the top cap not so much.
