My GGTS will deliver strong voltage with a charged battery and a good connection. But when the spring/s break down its finicky and frustrating. I found a different style of spring to use on the battery post, I think you might be interested in knowing of another option.
These are two battery springs I've used up.
This is a good heavy duty cone shaped spring bent to fit into the GGTS base spring holder.
steel spring, similar to the copper spring I'm using in the following pics.
Its working just fine, it provides plenty of pressure, allows smaller batteries to be used in longer spaces, and it collapses completely, so no GGTS flexibilities are given up.
its not to wide so it doesn't short out the GGTS.
Since I've started using GG devices I've accumulated an assortment of O rings and springs, so I'm not exactly sure where I found these, but they are doing a fantastic job.
