Ah yes, I seen these. I was always a fan of 4sevens from candlelight power forums. Do you bychance know the inner diameter of these handy little guys?

Now far be it from to act like a salesman, but reading your post and thinking back when talking to Sawlight about various extreme trades. I come to realize that I have total faith in Chameleon being very durable. It is only 1.7 oz, but also the body is 1.43mm thick, the endcap being 9mm thick, the threading pitch on the cap is 4.5mm, the button sector walls is 3.6mm and 16.1mm in length, the adapters are 8.9mm, as the top cap is 14mm with 1.67mm thickness. It is overall a very solid unit.

Lol..truth be told...know what these things are? ...they're PET soda bottle forms..they're 2 liter bottles before they're filled with hot air to expand them...
So honestly the inside measurement varies a little...they're about 15 cm tall and 1" diameter...about 60ml..will hold 3 or 4 123's..
I got a case of 48 3 assorted sizes (40, 60, 80ml) for $20 plus shipping (15 large tubes, 16 medium tubes, and 17 small tubes)...
Though you can find the 60 ml size of clear ones with plain non carabiner caps for like $19 for 30 of em at a place or 2...like here http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/product/1367
I was thinking that they might make interesting juice bottles if I could find different caps for em....
But now that you mention it I'm wondering if they're modable...at worst they'd make for an interesting shipping solution for some things eh?...

As for the chameleon...it's totally cool that you're down with it and doing your job as a salesman...and it was on my list of things I was looking at...but it's on my eventual after several other things list...(lol...I gotta get this freaking tent paid off that I ordered...it's almost camping season and I still got $700 to go before they ship it)..no more mods for me for a while after the super T gets here in about a week..

that steve spengler science site I linked up there isnt bad...30 of em for $19..and come with plain blue or yellow caps (whatever is available)..or 15 for $10...or 120 for $65..plus they got all sorts of fun geek science toys like water crystals (hmm I wonder how that stuff would work as filler material), tye dye lab coats, welt master rubber band guns...

I have an update about the DESAY single battery charger I told you about, it works great for the blue 10440 (unprotected) but I just got the gray Trustfire protected 10440 and they are too long to fit into the charging slot, and also do not work in the laser... I still have the blue battery to use from my PT but I thought you might want to know about that in case you were going to try to order some in bulk. Has anyone else had trouble with the gray Trustfire fitting or is it just me?? I hope these gray batteries will fit in my little chuck (when I get it) otherwise, they are a waste of money.

I think you are correct with the protected ones don't fit in the silver laser, they are a little longer. I have been using the unprotected for six months and no issues but need to handle them properly. I am in reference to the silver laser not the painted ones. The painted one I have has more room and can accomodate the protected batteries. Hope that helps.

That is bad news indeed Jam. I received a message from my battery supplier just a few days ago and she was telling me that they are out of the Trustfire protected and If i wanted to opt for the ultrafire she would have them sent the same day. I refused the ultrafire and decided to wait. Haha wait till she gets my message tonight! Thank you for that information. These can make a lovely addition to the store. I would've never guess what they actually were. I'm sure finding caps wouldn't be so much of a problem, ie. long dripper. The colors and styles they are really nice. I'll put some thought into before asking you.
Ouch on the Tent! It must be worth it though, The tents that I have seen have been like actual apartments! Do you normally go camping?

Oh no, you don't want to open that. It has been sealed shut and due to room constrictions, the wiring is very short to the atomizer connector. They will rip apart and the solder will break if you apply to much pressure to that region.
