I have vaped all over several airports, including in the security line. Did it once while picking up my pocket stuff because the TSA agent wanted to know if it worked... I showed her! :)

I've had zero problems, even at the gate while waiting for my flight.

I have also vaped on every airplane I've been on since I started. Not once has anyone said anything, including in first class where there's always a flight attendant hovering around.

Just don't make a nuisance of yourself. Turn on the little overhead air vent so it blows down in front of you. Hold the vapor in just a bit longer and then blow it downward. Don't make clouds.

Just my personal experience.

This all brings up a question that maybe has been addressed elsewhere but has anyone had a problem bringing your e-cig onto an airplane, getting past security checks? I imagine they would look pretty suspicious these days, yes/no?

I literally, just went through security in Boston Logan with 5 batteries in my laptop bag without even a hint of a problem. I'm in the Delta lounge right now stealth vaping. I've been through security in a number of airports for over a month without a single problem. And I stealth vape on the plane, even though Delta has banned e-cigs.

Lots of great info in the Travel section - one of the regular posters there is a TSA agent and another is a pilot. They should be able to address any concerns you have. But in general, you should have no problems, particularly if you use discretion. I can tell you it made traveling much less stressful, not having to worry about going outside waaaaaaaaaaay at the other end of the airport, or finding one of those smoker's cattle pens - LOL!
