Last night I had the strangest dream (about vaping).

As for the no cigs in four months thing... I haven't had one since 3 days ago (no money) and my now-anti-smoking mom is forcing my dad to pick me up a pack on his way home from work this morning, because of how irritable I am without nicotine (even though I'm a relatively light smoker, about 6 a day, they're too expensive for me to be able to smoke all day). And honestly, I can't wait for him to get home. I'd smack a senior citizen for a cig right now, even though I'm currently smoking an e-cig. They just don't help me as much as they do everyone else I guess. :(

Caterpillar, everyone is different, some people quit smoking as soon as they start using e-cigs, some still smoke and vape. I still smoked for almost two months, before I quit. It was not intentional, I just couldn't stand the taste or smell of cigarettes anymore.

We had better get back on the topic of "strangest vaping dreams". :)

My girlfriend's mom's a big ol' pothead and she said she had a dream in which I was puking up pound after pound of the sticky icky, and she had this huge internal dialogue over whether or not it was safe to smoke. So yeah, drug dreams happen. I may or may not have had a few in my lifetime as well.

P.S. It sucks to wake up wanting something you don't have. Keep a pack of cigs in the freezer, even if it's just there so you can spark one and realize how bad they taste in real life when you aren't used to them. And, if you do still like them, it's okay to have a real cigarette every once in a while, it isn't gonna kill you. Just try to stick to the e-cig like 95% of the time. Because really, quitting cold turkey shows a little bit of control, but moderation shows a hell of a lot more.

Well...maybe you could talk her into buying you a higher mg flavor free nicotine liquid that you could add to hers to up the nic...just a thought.

Maureen

Yeah, my mom said that too. (she's on here too, her SN is Moonflame, you might know her.) The only problem is that I don't really like e-cigs. They don't feel... right. It might just be that she's on an incredibly low dose (~10 mg) and won't order me anything she can't also use (I don't have a credit card). I mean, it works for her, cause she used to smoke Virginia Slim Light Menthol 120's, which are like sucking air through a straw. I smoke Newports or Marlboro Smooths, and no matter how much I drag on an e-cig with her liquid, I can't get the same feeling.

Actually, typing that long-a** paragraph gave me the time to carefully word exactly why they dont feel right. E-cig vapor feels wet. That's the only way I can describe it. I don't like that. I smoke BECAUSE it's harsh. I can't even compare the two, really. It's more like chewing (or inhaling) a piece of nicorette. Yeah, it gets you your fix, and it sure tastes good... but cigarettes feel good, and I don't smoke for the taste. Now, if you could make e-cigs hurt like a real one, and the vapor more dry-feeling, it might be different. But until then, I'm gonna stick to my sticks until I'm in someone's car, the movie theater, etc.

And by the way, I've tried the vodka thing, it didn't help.

Caterpillar - I have discribed vapor as being "fluffier" than smoke. It is very different. E-cigs taste better, that's for sure, but there is something not quite right with the "texture" of the vapor. I still smoke analogs. I don't enjoy them, but I want them. I have been using Stonewalls for the x-factor, but it doesn't help with wanting cigs. I know it is not nicotine, I have taken in so much nic with my e-cig that I heve felt nicotine poisoning.

As to wierd dreams - I have a history of very graphic, very strange dreams. (Alien space orgy, anyone?) I haven't had any about vaping or smoking, exactly. I have had a couple dreams about getting an order in the mail -unpacking it and organizing all the cool new e-cig stuff. I figure that is because I always get excited when I am expecting new stuff - like a kid on Christmas morning. when I have those dreams, I get even more upset at the mailman for not delivering that day. :)

The strangest smoking/vaping dream that I had was that I was smoking a cigarette while explaining the benefits of e-cigs to a group of people. One of them asked me why I was smoking a cigarette, while raving about e-cigs? I told him "I'm not really smoking a cigarette, this is only a dream".

Rarely do I recognize that it's only a dream, when I'm dreaming.

Angelique, that alien space orgy sounds like one strange dream !!

I had a dream last week where I was smoking a Kool. Which is odd since it has been over ten years since I bought a pack of that brand. I smoked Marlboro menthol lights. Truly odd dream that bugged me a little.

I am one of the lucky ones that quit analogs after my first vape and I don't even crave them. Could be my juice experiment I had watered down my nic level to near nothing adding flavoring so bumped the nic up a little till throat hit reappeared. Maybe my brain was trying to tell me my juice was too weak. :D
