Latest and Greatest for Returning Vapor

Greetings,

vaping became an obsession of mine when I started back in June of 2013, and during a 6 month span I tried as many of the clearo and battery combinations I could afford until I finally settled on a Vamo and ProTank as my main vape, and an iTaste with some Evods for backups.

In any event, I fell of the wagon January of 2014 and started back on the analogs despite telling myself how much I hated them. Anyway, I decided on Veterans Day to give those damn analogs up and have been vaping again ever since, and I immediately realized how much I missed vaping over smoking.

Anyway, since I've been out of the vaping game for about 11 months, I would like to see what new setups are out there that I can upgrade too. That was always my favorite part. I liked the Kanger products, because the bottom coils were always best for me. I also noticed people talking a lot about the iStick. Anything else out there I should be looking at? I'm not into dripping, and the Vamo is about as big as I would like my set up to be and even smaller is ideal.

If this sis for support in smoking cessation, the iStick could be a good option. I'd have a Basic ego/Clearo or something as a backup just in case. iStick and Nautilus would make a good combo.

I am now using mostly Mechanical mods and Kayfun or Orchid style tanks. Also excellent setups for all day dependability.

Basically, I was hoping there is something that is smaller but has a longer battery life than before. As for clearo, I really liked the evodsthough they were pretty basic at the time, the bottom coil was easy to rebuild once they got burned as well. I noticed the new kanger clearos use what's called a dual coil. Does that make a difference, are you able to change the coils like the old evod or protank coils?

I was just noticing those as you replied, those look exactly what I was wanting back a year or so ago. One set up without having all the different parts, I think that's my ticket! cheers

GOOD MOVE, and good luck getting back into the swing of things. It's a good time to be a vaper. LOTS of cool toys and innovation out there, with more likely to come soon. I wish I could offer some insight, but I am somewhat out of the new equipment loop myself these days.

Welcome back! Lately I'm liking the VAMO 35w. Not sure if you were around when the kayfuns, foggers, orchids, etc started becoming popular (I wasn't back here yet) but they're so much nicer IMO than the kangers were (if you like rebuildables). Kanger IS putting out a new tank with bottom vertical coils as an option, as is Aspire. Kanger's has a rebuildable deck as an option though, aspire is pre-made coil only.

what has helped me stay off analogues, high nic tasty juice, mvp2 its cheap and battery lasts, nautilus mini bvc.
ive come down on my nic strength lately as i dont need it, used to be at 27 now down to about 6 to 8.
u could get a dna 40 box which should be a game changer which i am waiting to buy or make my own box mod

Check PBusardo's review of the Silo. It uses the Aspire BVC coils. That with an istick looks like a great, easy setup.

Get the Sigelei 100watt box mod. You WONT be disappointed. It is one of the best out there, and since it goes up to 100watts, you won't have to worry about upgrading anytime soon, even when (not if...trust me...WHEN) you get into dripping.

As others have said, right now is a fantastic time to get back into vaping. It has come a LONG way, believe me.

If you REALLY don't want to rebuild right now, then I suggest you get top off the Sigelei with an Aspire Nautilus Mini.

I do, however, recommend you get a kayfun-like RBA. You build your own coils, which are extremely easy, but they come with tanks so that you aren't dripping. Most hold between 3ml-5ml , so they last a nice long time before you have to refill.

I'm not a fan of the iStick. I own two and the more I use them the less I like them. The power output is just all over the place and generally way over what it should be, particularly on a full charge. For simple I'd go with an MVP2. Pair it with a Nautilus or Nautilus Mini for simple and reliable setup.
