Lava Tube - esque clones... any good ones out there? Looking for best quality + price

Hi there! I haven't been around these parts much in the last few mos, so hoping you guys will clue me in on what I missed with the Lava Tube and clones, lately. I really need to get one, but looking for cheapest price, and best quality. Plus, I'm not even sure who all is carrying them. I know Nhaler has the N-Vari, at $85 for full kit shipped, but thought I saw a newsletter from someone else who was carrying a similar clone in the $60 range, and can't remember where it was for the life of me! Don't really want to go to the VV box, really prefer the rod style, but if you've got an amazing vv box to recommend, have at it. I've already done the inexpensive vv box mod, and I know I really want the vv functionality, but price is a big issue, and I need a charger/batts as well, so the whole kit is a great thing. So aside from the volcano Lava Tube kit, which is what... about $100, and the N-Vari (which looks pretty darn similar to me, but I'm not a tech person) kit is $85. Anyone have any others to add to the mix, or one of which steps ahead of the pack for quality/warranty/price??? Thanks so much! I just don't have the ability to weed thru all the research, so I appreciate any responses. And yes you guys who always suggest the big guns, I know the Darwin and or Provari are much much better... they're just so far out of my price range as to be ludicrous. Thanks!

I could be mistaken but I suspect that most of the 'clones' are the same as the Lava Tube. I suppose there could be some true clones out, but other than that, they probably come from the same place as the LT. Various names may be factory printed for different suppliers. There are some apparent good buys out there. ...good fortune with your search!

All the Lavatubes and their brothers and sisters come from China, and have Chinese quality to go along with them. This may sound bad but honestly, if there is one thing China does right its e-cigarettes... just never buy a usb drive from them .

What may or may not come in the kit might be a little different from vendor to vendor and the warranty may vary depending on where you get it but as far as the pv itself it's the same.

I saw that apollo one... looks like a great deal, other than in description it mentions that it comes with only one batt instead of two like some of the others, I'm thinking that adds about what... $8 or $9 to price for direct comparison. Doesn't really matter much, just need to add in an extra batt. And some come with free shipping, but slightly higher price. I have a feeling most of these places are buying them at the same price point, so most of them are shaking out in a pretty similar price range once they're raised for retail. But if anyone sees any ridiculous good deals, I'd love to hear em. I'll keep good look out on the classifieds thread, but I have a feeling I won't be able to catch a great deal there, just cause I don't spend that much time haunting em, and they get snatched pretty quick. But I'll check it out often... maybe I'll get lucky. The good news is they're in the $60-$80 range, rather than the $100 one.

I got mine (LT only, no extras) for $50 shipped from Liberty Flights. I've had it for a month or so and it hasn't missed a beat.

I think myvapor store has them for $49 for the body, and $72 for the kit, 2 bats, and a charger, 2 attys, and an ego case, and their flat rate shipping is like $3 or something.

Any of you guys looking at LT getting swayed by the new vv kit in same price range... its called the vision 'tox' but like the LT, looks like everyone is calling it something different in the marketing. So far seems to have features I prefer to the LT, but would love some real world feedback before I buy.
