Yea so after more research, i think ill just stick with the 1.0 LT and get a PV, cause the 3.0 LT is a fraud, or so it appears. From my own past experiences you get what you pay for....

I'm not going to get a V3 LT. I'm happy with my V1 until I can save enough money for a Provari. This won't be any time soon. In the meantime I got an Ego Twist, which to be honest I'm using all the time. It works great for me.

Don't know about the 'v3', but currently vendors are changing version numbers faster than I change my socks... even worst, you can find the same device (v1 electronics inside) labelled as v1, v2 (and perhaps v3?).

you can easily tell if they have the newer electronics because they'll be able to check the atomizer resistance, but that's all.

my 2 cent of wisdom: if only I had skipped buying both the LT v1 and v1.5 (in 3 months' time) and directly bought a provari, I'd have almost spent the same amount of money... but only once! :)

Maybe they are just changing version numbers and colours, etc just to keep up with all the other, similarly priced new devices that have come out recently.

I'm reserving judgement, but there has been a lot of roll outs of products recently which have been up-versioned really fast.. IE the iTaste, with it's faulty V1 battery, the VMAX, which defaulted to 5v when you swapped out the batteries and the Vision Clearomisers, with first short wicks, now longer ones (which by all accounts are no better)

As pBusardo states in his latest video, I'd wait to see if it sorts itself out. I'd also wait for a few reviews to surface on the V3 LavaTube before purchasing. Just to be on the safe side...

Not sure about prices in the UK, but here in Italy an ego twist kit costs about half a provari v2, perhaps a little bit more...

listen to this guy i didnt and got the valcano lava tube for way higher price ;-) lol

I also suggest doing exactly as sailorman says. His advise is completely sound and saved me a ton of money. My Apollo V-tube w/ vivi nova 2.5 is working perfectly.

The one thing I'd like to stress about the vtube is to wax the heck of the battery threading. I completely ruined my first vtube within one hour of receiving it because the threads got stuck when I was screwing it in. I put some candle wax on the replacement and its been working great since. I think sailorman suggested using something different on the vtube threading but I can't remember what it was. Plain old candle wax did the trick for me.

I should also point out that Apollo replaced the tube within one day after I wrecked the battery threading. Great company.

Sailorman, you need a metal for helping us newbs out as much as you do!

It's around £25 for the battery. Nobody does kits here yet... That I can afford right now, Over £200 for the Provari, I can't. It's all about cashflow my friend ;)

200 quids??? so to speak, have you considered ordering it directly from the US? even here with the USD rates growing against €, it can be had for about 150/160€ (including shipping, customs and VAT), possibly less if you manage to group with someone else for sharing shipping costs.

of course even those figures wouldn't solve the cashflow problem, unfortunately :(, but it might put things in a different perspective...

I have looked into that, if customs sting you it works out about the same as it costs to get it in the UK. I guess I could take the risk that they don't.

The setup I want contains the extra bits. I also don't have the 18500 batteries either.... So I'd want the extension, etc, etc...

One will be mine eventually, of that you can be certain... ;)
