Lavatube: Batteries

Question thats been burning my mind this few days...
i seen batteries 18650 AW for the lavatube. That is the one to be used. But, whats the difference between 1600mAh ,2000mAh and 2900mAh ? Lifetime longer? Chargin time longer? Explosion bigger?

Lasts longer, charging longer, higher short cct current. IMRs dun usually explode they just fizzle out to oblivion.

Lifetime longer = Yes.

Charging time: Yes.

Explosion: Depends. If you are using it stacked on a mod without any vent holes + a shorted Atty = Singaporecasket.com.sg.

If you use 1 piece in the Lavatube, then all should be well. Make sure your know what you are buying 1st. If in the case of AW IMRs, I only seen 1600MAh and 2000Mah only... The 2900mah you've seen should be ICRs.

So what which kind would you recommend ICR or IMR?
Cause i found this table online and it seems to be the same voltages

stick to aw imr is safer..wat I know is dat those icr are protected series and the length is longer so it won't fit the lava..aw imr is ard 65mm, icr is abt 68mm

What if i used an extension cap? As in make my own will it still work?

IMHO, 700mah IMR last longer than 750Mah ICR. Waaaaaaay longer.

When things explode into fragments its scary.Seeen a plastic bottle cap blow up in the middle of a field while i was outside the field,the thing just flew real fast and land right beside me.Scary.Lucky plastic not metal...

Reminds me of the time when I packed a whole bunch of fireworks under Mrs. Dale's porch last 4th of July. Boy did she freak out! My friend told me if she hanged herself it was on me. Lucky for me she was too stubborn. LOL!

I got that too!! I placed one Xiang tian lei on a glass soda bottle (last time still got glass cola and sprite bottles!) it didnt fly up and exploded in the glass.. I got a scar on my leg till now to show off heheh

At 13 year old i m@de those fused fr@gs.I remember once at close range it was so loud that i got deaf.Really deaf,i can't hear anything,i only saw my friend mouth opening!Some alarm went off.I still have a video of it.The fragments actually shot up instead.My nighmare,fearing i will get into deep trouble.Lucky all the past.Not gonna do these anymore.Now we got better things to do...Stay safe!
