Off topic a bit, but the trend towards laced juices looks like a baaaaaad thing. One of those trains you see coming and don't know how to derail.

yep. it's why i'm grateful the can-ni-bis discussion is canned immediately. what's coming is inevitable. i only hope the window of opportunity can stay open long enough. for legal and tech development.

After reading about how some people were able to get their PVs in to Jury Duty, I decided to bring in a Bloog penstyle ecig. I put it in the little basket along with my wallet, keys, cell phone and book. I sent it through the scanner and walked through the metal detector. When I got through the detector and went to pick up my basket, the scanner operator was holding it and said, "Who's ecig is this?" I told her it was mine and she said, "ecigs are not allowed in the courthouse. You can go put it in your car". I went out and put it in the car.

I suppose I could have asked why, but I was already late arriving and didn't have time to debate the fact. She DID know what it was though....immediately. I guess it differs from court to court, but I had no luck in Florida (East Coast)

thx for the update. completely understand the 'no time for debate'. wise to let it pass, but it would be interesting to get that policy in writing. banned because it's disruptive. in court ok .. yeah i can understand the 'looks like smoke' problem. in the hallway, outside, now that's where it falls apart.

Amazing how many ecigs are going to Court, lol! Here you cannot take anything electronic into any Court or Federally run buildings. No cell phones, laptops, ecigs, nothing. No lighters, matches either. You guys must live in low crime areas in comparison. O/T sort of, went the art museum in DC couple of years ago, can of pepper spray on key chain, sent to put pepper spray in car, not allowed. I can't imagine trying to bring in a mod!
