Ok, need some help. Ordered an ehpro Kayfun Lite Plus and now need something to put it on. I've been using an MVP 2 and iTaste VV3. I want a tube to match the Kayfun. I'm pretty open to suggestions. Ideally I'd like something the length can be changed, I absolutely do not want a big "lightsaber". Something short I can put a small battery in and can be lengthened of a larger battery would be very nice. Whether electronic or mechanical I'm open but seriously need my hand help on what to buy, including the proper batteries. I would like to stay under $100 (not including batteries and charger) with cheaper being better but will spend what I need not to have issues. Something available stateside would be preferable but fastech is an option if need be. With the Kayfun I'm planning around 1.25Ω to 1.5Ω if that makes a difference.

Imo the kayfun looks better on the nemesis. They have almost the same brushed SS and you can get a hybrid kit from fasttech https://www.fasttech.com/p/1666400 for the nemesis that gives a more flush look and makes it shorter.

Both in 18650 mode using, left real kfl+ + nano kit and hybrid adapter, right Tobeco v2 kfl+ + nano kit. As you can see the nemesis is shorter.

Tried searching but their search leaves a lot to be desired, can you get the adaptor in stainless or is it hidden once assembled?

This plus this plus this add in the listed adaptor from fastech?

I keep reading about magnet upgrades, something I need?

1. Its hidden, Ill post a pic.

2. You got it spot on, you can get a nano kit from fasttech too, I got 3 from there and they are just as good as the mod factory ones, I own one of mod factory ones too its on the left kayfun.

3. You don't need the magnets, firing button is less crunchy with them, fasttech sell nemesis magnets.

Now sell me some batteries unless I'm missing something else.

If you going to use a kick you need a 18490 battery other wise the switch throw will be too long, efest 18490 or IMR AW 18490 work good with a kick.
Sub ohm-ing ?? Sony 18650 VTC4 2100mah 30 amp or the efest 2100mah 18650 30 amp, they are the exact same battery and cost the same. These batteries will take a 0.2ohm coil. They are best bang for your buck.

I hadn't really given a lot of thought to a kick. Are they needed? If so I'll add it to the list, I just want to get this done right the first time. My understanding of the Kayfun is that they aren't great for subΩ so I'll likely stay in the 1.25-1.5 area.

Yes and no, with a kick its a lot safer, if Im going to the club I pop a kick in, kick aint fool proof either you still have to lock the mod, burnt my leg twice on the dance floor. A kick will only give you 15watts without a kick you could get around 60-80watts.

EDIT:

We are covering a lot of ground here, so lets try and sum it up.

Kick: 15watts and will give 15watts until the battery needs recharging and adds shortcut protection + battery protection. You can still use 18650's with a kick + nemesis but it becomes a big ... mod and I don't know if the hybrid adapter will work with a 18650 + kick I would have to check. Best match for the kick + nemesis + hybrid IMO is the 18490 battery.

No Kick: No protection, keep a multimeter handy to check the battery voltage (don't go below 3.4v to be safe), after awhile you will get a feel for when the battery is low.
As the voltage drops so will the watts. Using a 1.2 ohm coil on fresh battery you will get 14watts and it will drop to 9.6watts @ 3.4v.
Kayfuns work ok at 1.0 ohms. Bookmark http://www.ohmslawcalculator.com/ohms_law_calculator.php is a good tool to have.
If the day comes you want sub ohm with say a RDA you will need a 18650 30amp battery.

Edit 2:
Nemesis + kick + hybrid + 18650 will work with all the tubes and the beauty ring.
