Laughed at first, Huey, but that's not a bad idea at all. I travel a lot, too--the fewer questions, the better.
there's another vendor who has a really cute kr8 lazer mod, i'd love to see V4L have one, specially a keychain one.
I'd never say never. It sounds cool, and I've thought about it before. I've always wanted stealth vapers, disguised as pens, laser pointers, etc, so yeah, I'd like to make that. But we have some other new ideas that would take priority over that, so I can't say it'll happen anytime soon.
You know, after I posted it over here I laughed a little too because I use a mod exclusively and to me on a mod it really would be just a laser pointer, kinda big for a laser pointer but a laser pointer none the less. After I posted I thought about the regular v4l customer and the batts with the LEDs on the end and with that kind of batt maybe it would be a little silly. But maybe on the vk1 it would be just right.
I've been mulling it around for the past 6 months when the ban scare level was high and even posted it on my mod's forum but they didn't seem up for it so thought I might post it here, especially since Leaford's in China and I'm sure they could whip up a prototype overnight on the cheap. ;-)
Can you let us in on what the new ideas are? atleast a hint

I think a lazer pointer on the battery instead of the led would be cool with a seperate button. That way I could vape and point...

Yeah, that's what I'd vote for. I'd just like to screw on the laser cartos before I hit the airport and take them off afterward. Especially with international screening, as you well know, the simplest explanations often work best. "I'm a businessman and this is for my presentations--watch how it works." Smiles all around and all that.
I won't actually begin traveling abroad with my VKs until this summer, so I really have no idea what to expect. I'm just thinking ahead. Maybe you or someone else here has some related experience about international screening to share? I'm interested.
