leaking clearomizers :/!

Hi there! I'm new to vaping, and have been lurking since buying a "personal vaporizer" at a local shop sunday. I started with vuse last week, but ended up with 3 batteries that wouldn't charge AT ALL within 5 days (one of which wouldn't recharge even once after being drained the first time from the manufacturer.) Also, I had a heck of a cough/wheeze going on, which i think was due to the extremely high nicotine content in hindsight. Frustrated, and determined not to buy another Pack of cigarettes, I stopped at a local tobacco shop, and got what looks like a 650 ego battery with a disposable clearomizer. I also got a back up with 2 bottles of liquid. At this point both of them are spewing juice from the top and bottom!! Nevermind the fact that both liquids are nasty since i ordered a sample pack due to arrive next week.

My question is.....do they all leak like sivs so quickly? ??!!!! 2 in 6 days is a bit much. Any ideas or tips for a struggling newbie??!!

I did order 2 mini novis, but they won't arrive until Tuesday .

The only one I have owned that does not leak is this...Atomizers - eGo Style - Aspire Nautilus Mini - WORLDofVAPE

I have the larger version but on an ego the mini would fit better and not be top heavy

In short no, good cleromisers don't leak often, I have a few aspire et-s clearios and a couple nautilus's very rare I get a leak, if I do it's from me not putting them together properly

Vuse is an abomination; but if you were coughing on them, it's not the nicotine necessarily. My missus can puff on them, but can't tolerate a normal e-cig. They create very little vapour... that's why Vuse use 48mg liquid. It's just a con really.

Clearomisers can leak, especially cheap "old tech" ones. Even some of the latest designs are dodgy.

There is lots to learn... but you are in the right place.

Hi jdaisy and welcome to ECF. Can't help with the clearos you have because I don't know what they are, but there are some out there that are pretty bad. If the new ones you're waiting for are Vision Vivi Nova's they are good and will not leak if you are careful with how you assemble them. The heads also last quite a while if you dry burn them after every few tanks, depending on how 'gunky' your juices are.

So sorry for the delayed reply! I thank you all for your replies!! It seems the leaking had a lot to do with my very hard draw along with the cheapo clearomizers. The aspide nova tanks arrived, but I must have ordered the standard size instead of the minis :/.

My batteries keep flooding these tanks, so I guess I need a different style battery. I ordered a vv which h hopefully will better handle the tanks.

I did get an aspire et-s as well, and am IN LOVE!! I haven't had any issues whatsoever!! No leaking, great taste, and no flooding.

Thanks again guys!! I also got a sample from seduce juice last week, and already got more snake oil....best flavor EVER, lol.
