Hi everyone. When I filled this clearo (first one) I put the rubber bung back and it pushed out fluid at the bottom end. What can I do to stop this? Have I done anything wrong?

Sounds like some liquid got in the center and when you closed it air pressure pushed it out the bottom. Blow through it and get the excess out. If it's not leaking after that you're fine.

I have another noob problem now. I have some Dekang 0% nic vanilla in the clearo and it tastes really burned. Is that just the flavour or have I mucked up the atomizer?

We don't even know if your first prob was resolved and if the suggestion worked...
That looks like the one that needs to be prepared. Is there a white ring on silicone along the bottom?
see that glob of silicone? If you have that, this one needs to be prepared first.
Here's how: remove the silicone ring in top. Then use tweezers or need nose to pull up center tube.
It should look like is now.
Now, rinse out with water and shake and blow dry.
Then attach to battery and do 6 second bursts until you see it glow orange. Then do 2 more white it glowing orange.
Now the white silicone should be yellow. That seals the bottom. Reassemble, and your done.
Since you have the white ring out, fill befor replacing it so you don't need syringe.

I don't have much luck with vanilla's anyways but there is a good possibility that the clearo isn't wicking fast enough. Take the top piece off and back off the silicone cup cover just a bit. Replace mouthpiece. The wicks sometimes will get pinched and won't wick.
I blew out the excess and it stop leaking sorry I didn't mention that. It does have a ring of silicone. It's naughty they don't tell you to prepare it. I'll do that tomorrow.
As for the vanilla. Not sure what to make of it really. I'll research some more tomorrow

I've never had a vanilla I like, even my DIY. I can make variations of vanilla like vanilla ice cream but not just plain vanilla
Thank you and good to hear and the reason it's a good idea to post back is for others that are having the same issues. As for vanilla I've also never had any luck. After trying the silicone cup cover trick it still may not be wicking quick enough. I use the longer wick V2 and every so often tilt it to make sure the wick is saturated.

So after trying the above I found juice on my battery when I looked this morning. They had been separated and stored upright all night. Will this break my battery?
