leaking issues and altitude?

When I fly and take filled tanks, I put them in a small Pelican case after going through security. It has a pressure relief valve which works well enough to avoid leaks...

Just commuting from work to home causes leaks with a ~3000ft elevation change, doesn't matter if clearomizer or RTA. Solution: chain-vape all the way home, specifically when climbing grades, let it blow off some steam. Not practical for your scenario though. I'd use a small RDA and carry a 10ml bottle separately. No leaks that way.

When I fly, I pack empty tanks and carry a dripper with me.

The first time I drove from Palm Springs up to Pioneertown, (4,500ft in one hour) my tanks were squirting like a prop from the exorcist. Now, whenever I make the trip I just bring a dripper.

LOL! I'll suck it up and just take the Reo in my carry on. I'll leave the Provari and empty cartotanks in my luggage. Thanks for the input guys!

If a tank is stored upside down with room for expansion, it really can't leak, unless the top seal is junk, which it is on some tanks.

I've never had any problems with the kanger sub tanks leaking upside down on a plane as long as they are not more than 3/4's full.
