I have the exact same issue, so I hope someone comes along with something to say about this.
Personally, I dropped down to 2 drops instead of 3, I still get the leaking however. And I only add those 2 drops when it taste like I am smoking...well...you know what I'm saying, so for *me* I don't think it is an issue of over filling.
I use a vGo 900 mAh battery and an lr atty that has never had any type of modification done to it. With the question above about de-bridged atties, I will ask, will that stop the leaking? How so?

Debridged atty's do not stop or decrease leaking. Some say they are more prone to leaking because the bridge (which can hold juice) has been removed.

What both of you are describing is an atty that is incapable of holding any more liquid. There have been times when I get that taste telling me to drop in a couple drips. And when I do, I end up with juice on my atty / battery. I know what an atty asking for juice tastes like and so do you. I don't know why this happens this way, but it has happened to me too.

The only thing I have found that solves my problem is blowing out the atty. I find that things usually return to normal after I do that.

I have also found some atty's seem to love it when I drip and some atty's don't. They are the same brand / manufacturer / come out of the same box / bought on the same day, etc - but something about some atty's just seem like they don't take to dripping. I suppose that sounds odd, doesn't it?

Just in Case - Don't you love your 900mah eGo? I have a couple and I think they are great batteries.

dvd0020 - Is you atty behaving itself now? How is it going?

It's actually a vGo, which is some sort of knock of, I guess, but it has a very "delicate" design on it, so it *looks* pretty!
I could use this thing wearing my best formal dress, it's that fancy!
But to answer your question, YES! I absolutely LOVE it. I have 2 now. A black one and a red one.
I started vaping on a kr8 and switched to this type when I became addicted to the pt. The regular batteries with a cartomizer just weren't enough for me after the pt!
Got one of these babies and some lr atty's and a drip tip, and I am in pure vaping heaven!!! And no more worries about my batt running dead!

Thanks for the "blow out" tip. I will try that as soon as I vape what I just dripped!

Another thing to consider is the type of juice you are using. Juices vary in consistency from one brand to another and even one flavor to another. Maybe the juice you are using is a bit too watery for dripping?

I personally love Johnson Creek juices (particularly their Red Oak Domestic) but they tend to be a bit on the watery side. Any time I drip it falls right through. On the flip side, Backwoods Brew juices are thicker and stay in the bridge/atty much better.

We've reviewed quite a few juices on our site and we always take consistency into consideration for this very reason. Perhaps after reading through some of the reviews you'll find one or two that tickle your fancy.

Okay, minor issue here. I'm direct dripping onto my ego atty, and having issues with juice coming out the side of the atomizer and also onto the battery. Am I dripping too much juice? I use 3 drops at a time. Never more than that.

It one of perils of dripping ha-ha!

I use a 510 low resistance atty on my screwdriver, and can go all day without any leaks, then once in a while will get the dreaded juice leaking :(

But you will get better at it and find a happy level without leaks, and also I find if you actually take the drip tip or empty cartridge or whatever you using off and try and aim your 2-3 drops straight on the atty coil this will help as the coil soaks the liquid up a bit rather than it leaking down the sides!

I wouldn`t go back to cartridges now and only do so when driving as it awkward juggling everything without spilling things ha-ha!

I run into that once in a while and I noticed it was from the drip tip. The liquid would run down the sides and out the holes. I would blow it out and drip on the bridge and replace the tip and all would be great. I now pay attention when I drip through the tip and try to be sure it goes down the middle. This seems to have solved my issue.
