Leaking

Hey Team,

I have had my e-cig for a few days now, and I am having one problem.

I'm sure you guessed it by the title, leaking.

If I use a cart, it leaks between the cart and the automiz.

If I tail-pipe smoke, it leaks between the automiz and the battery.

Ok, now time for some specifics-

• I use 1-2 drops for the tail-pipe
• I use 4-6 drops for the cart (stop right before I see standing oil)
• I have the 510 clone (L2 510)

Any help will do, any mods such as 'cart mods' ect are all welcome!

A likely cause is you slowly accumulated to much juice over time. Stand the atty threads up on a paper towel and leave it for a while. Normally you would blow it out first (threads in your mouth) but this time you need to know how much comes out if you want to prove this.

Why it would come out of a properly filled cart, don't know. How does it sit when you aren't using it?

The basic blue foam mod is to me the easiest, Holds a lot of juice too.

Thats when it leaks the most, when its sitting, I am going to try the teabag mod 2maro tho.

How is it sitting? Horizontal, leaning, vertical?

If you're already having flooded atty/leaking issues, you may want to avoid the tea bag mod. Unscrew your atomizer from the batt and yank off the cart; Then cover the center hole of the atty with your finger (battery side) and blow hard through the atty (from the cartridge side). This will force out all of that collected juice in the atty. There will be quite a bit so you will want to keep a paper towel handy. If you make it a habit to do this once or twice a day, you shouldn't run into leaking problems, and your atty will perform better. Like Wireguy said, the blue foam is easier, works better, and is less likely to leak.

510 will leak if you don't have enough filling in it. The PTB mod is great, if you do it where it has the folds at the top to help hold on to the liquid. I think it is a PIA, so I've gone over to using AquaClear foam from PetCo in mine. Perfect for the 510, holds lots of juice (cut tapered to a smaller piece at bottom, larger at top and slightly wider than the cart to barely compress the cells in the foam). Cut flush to the top of the cart.

I have found that cartridges from different company's fit differently. I have some that don't leak but I have to pound them on.

I have also found that some carts fit into the atomizer nice and snug and others, mostly flats, seem loose and leak. I like the flat whistle end but would like to find a way to make them fit into the atty a little tighter. Any ideas would be welcomed
