Leaking

Dunno if this is in the rite section but couple of family members have got mini protank 3s and they keep bubbling and leaking on the battery does anyone know why ?

I've never had problems with mine
I've checked orings
I've checked coil
I've checked see everything is nice and tight and flush but everything seems fine to me?

I've been using my mini for a while now, and haven't encountered any leaking. Are they using thinner juice than you are?

Sorry, I can't help; never used a protank3
Did you get them from the same source? Have the right coils?

That link has a bit of discussion about the PT 2, but some general tips that night be applicable to you are discussed as well.

Some things are hard to diagnose without having the thing in your hands. Unfortunately, we do have to engage in a bit of speculation sometimes.

Sometimes, too tight is worst than not tight enough. When some of those seals get crushed, they start to leak. I've never had issues with my Protank 3 and although I've heard and read a lot of grumbling about it, it has always worked well for me!

Perhaps a good cleaning, followed by a coil from a different batch?

I no ryt I've never had problems I might take orings out n put back in again after a good clean AGAIN for them I'll get back to you all if I solve it haha

Are they using the protank2 single coil instead of the protank3 dual coil?

The dual coil is taller than the single coil so if you put the single coil there will be a space above it where liquid will get into the center airflow tube and cause gurgling.

Bottom coils also tend to get more and more leaky with usage till you change the coil head.

An extra silicone cap over the coil can also seal a space above if there is a space.

One has the old style dual coil the other has new style gunna go pick up 2 new coils tomoz n see if that stops it if not at least they have a spare coil lol
