When unscrewing the base for refill, the coil unit sometimes gets loose as well.
Then the liquid seeps through and it gets messy. Plus juice not vaped is money mopped up by tissue...
Always check if the coil unit is still tight 'n snug in the base.

Also switchin to a liquid thats a tad more gooey can help, cuz if the wicks aren't properly aligned, it'll seep past the coil there too...

If it's like this one, could also be a loose coil inside the tank. Which kinda makes sense with leaking into the battery connection and up the chimney.
I had one of those and if I left it standing up it would eventually start leaking, I kept it upside down and had no trouble.

I wish that guide was around two years ago... lol. Maybe I wouldn't have made the mistake of thinking that I needed to pull out the wick for it to work (I thought it was like removing the pull tab of a new toy...) Too late now, I'm on an xCube II with a sub ohm tank and many many hours worth of studying ohms law and battery safety behind me... XD

I could be that you are pulling to hard when you vape and it is pulling more juice to the coil than it can vaporize. I am thinking that your battery is fixed voltage so you are unable to turn up the power to help it vaporize all the juice going to the coil. Try pressing the button a couple of seconds before starting to take a draw and see if that helps and maybe try not to pull to hard. HTH
