Hi everyone. I'm Mike and live in Florida. I have an Ijust 2 which leaks thru the air vents. I end up with juice all over my shirts. I have changed the coil a couple of times, put that silly rubber right back around the air vents and it still leaks. Can I fix this? Buy a new tank? Throw the entire thing in the trash? Would a different tank work? If so, what should I buy that would be compatible. Thanks If I posted in the wrong place please feel free to tell me where I should have posted.

Happy vaping

Check your o-rings. Also make sure that you're seating the coil snugly, (but not overly tight). I haven't heard of leaking issues with that tank.

unless something isn't seated right, and not tight enough, it should not leak.

Maybe you got bad coils?

Are you using purchased coils or rebuilds? if rebuilds, possibly they aren't done right and don't have enough wick.

Otherwise, if you're drawing too harshly on them but not have your wattage high enough, so as you pull, the liquid doesn't get evaporated and you end up flooding the coil, which leaks down to the airlflow chamber.

I have the Melo 2 (same coils) and I've yet to have any leaks that I can remember.. maybe once from doing something wrong/stupid.

I'm using new coils not rebuilt. I'll try to put it together again and see what happens. I do Vape a lot. Keeps me from over eating.

I do vape a lot. So I may be drawing too harshly. However I notice it seems to happen when the tank is half empty or more. Doesn't seem to happen when the tank is full. Thanks.

Hi Mike,

I have two ijust 2 tanks. Funny thing, our lovely Florida weather and heat don't help with vaping. Does it always leak or only after you leave air conditioning and then go outside. The change in temperature seems to cause mine to leak too. Also, this tank doesn't like high pg juices, because the juice is thinner it seems that it has more of a tendency to leak.

Of course I can be completely wrong, but my unscientific use of this mod seems to hold this true. Mine don't leak at all when I am in my house, but if I take it out it leaks.

I only use mine inside. I don't want to have juice all over me when I'm going somewhere. Eleaf told me to use a 50/50 PG/VG blend in this device.

Doesn't leak mostly when full but more towards the end....before you said that I was going to mention it's possible that your over filling or over saturating coils initially but not sure now. Sometimes over priming and not leaving an air gap to start can make it leak initially but now I'm thinking it's more of you actually drawing too hard for that specific tank. If it does wind up being the draw, like previously mentioned, a 40/60 vg might help

A lot of my tanks leak when left on it's side, but they are completely fine when left upright.

It's a hassle but try leaving it upright at all times.

Mine is large with a flat bottom It stays upright all the time. E leaf now tells me the coils could be bad since they are made in China. Also told me I could use either 50/50 blend or 60/40 blend. E leaf says the tank won't leak if I use this mixture. Time will tell.
