Yes! I have a Russian 91% and the exact same problem! I have taken that thing apart numerous times. The insulator is fine, I've tightened the inside screw (just last night again) no matter what I do the 510 screw has always been loose. I also have a kayfun, it has yet to give me a day of trouble. I'm not to happy with the Russian. I'll be interested in futher comments. The Russian is only a few months old, just used as a backup. It has never been right.

Same here, I've got 2 Kayfun Lites and never a single issue with either of them.

I ended up replacing the delrin insulator under the block and that took care of the problem. I've run 30 mils through the tank and not a single leak. I did notice that the insulator I removed was slightly deformed from the factory, almost like it was tightened down too much. Thanks to VaPries for pointing me in the tight direction!

I have had the same issue. I tried extra O-rings and plumber's tape in various different places: around the circular part of the positive block insulator; around the 1/2 of the centerpin threads; around the base of the centerpin; around the threads of the 510 screw. Nothing worked until I replaced the stock centerpin with the one from FatDaddyVapes and used the insulators from KidneyPuncher.

Is the center pin from FDV the adjustable type like the stock pin? It looks like it is. I wonder what is different about the replacement pin and insulators that stopped the leaking?

Update: Still pretty much leak free. Just a bit of shine on the inner o-ring (up under the small 510 screw) maybe 1 week and 6 tankfulls after first fill. But nothing that actually seeps down onto the mod connection. I also used the positive block isolator (from KP) which seems to provide a tighter fit to the center air channel. I get far more condensation and then seepage up through the drip tip and also out the airflow adjustment screw than down around the 510, which is next to nothing.

I was wondering if any of you have had an issue with your Russian 91% leaking from the 510 connection. Mine does it repeatedly and I cannot figure out for the life of me as to why. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is it an authentic R91, or a clone? I have an authentic R91 and never have a problem unless the refill screw is not tight.
